Well, everyone knows the good of NX on this game and the things we can do using our real $$$$, and the unfair advantage that this may cause sometimes, but NOW i am just shocked with the new patch, that i was hoping nexon america wouldnt follow the same format, well they will:

what is the point to even hunt time pieces anymore, waste 2x drop cards / time / effort while a lvl 10 char filled with NX can just go to gacha and get the item in their hands?

It's free to play, they need money from somewhere.

If your a die hard-core non-nx user, than that's you. Even thought you know the full advantages of it you still refuse to use it. And when nexon offers items through cash than let them!

i do realize the maker items > gacha items, but yet this just make every person get what they want on game without have to do any effort excpet the fact to use $$$ on game, (or mts of course).

Anyone who is relying on gacha to get a reverse weapon would be someone who would gacha for scrolls to get mesos to buy PoT to forge a reverse before this announcement

this isnt changing anything -- just gets rid of the middle man for those who want to purchase a reverse weapon

honestly i dont see anyone going out and gachaing strictly for reverse weapons -- because the easiest route for nx users will always be to turn nx into mesos through mts or gacha and then buy the PoT

With MTS, mesos and nx basically become the same thing except in different currencies. People who pay real money get a certain amount this in-game currency based on how much they pay because they support the game, and that's all. Gachapon tickets and all other items in CS are available to everyone; just buy items with your mesos, and sell them in MTS.

I don't think it is that much different... some players who craft Reverse weapons bought all the ingredients with mesos rather than hunting. With weapons coming out of gacha now, they could have converted that mesos they spent into NX and buy Gachapon tickets instead.

The advantage of spending your own pocket money in Maplestory is huge though, and that is Maplestory's drive to get people to spend money. (Or in my case, it was a drive for me to get employed lol.)

Yeah Truffle but you put in a lot of time merchanting and selling some leech for that money. Not all of us merchant as well as you.

You don't need nx to be strong/rich, but it sure makes it easier to get rich/strong over non-nx users.

But having NX is a nice advantage.

As long as i can mts crap to get a permit I'm happy, reviving my pet, buyin looting stuff, a new hair and hair dye would be great though... don't need anything else

Remember when Dragon weapons came from gach? Almost nobody had one until they were getting them from HT anyway...

Well WS-es over here are about.. 400m each? Or was it 600m, can't really remember..
Gach eh? Miracle scrolls are out but seriously the rate of getting 1 is about 0.000001% probably.

It is only for less than a month so it wont make much difference.
