Entry 86. June 20, 2009.

"How am I supposed to manage that?! There's no way I can carry her, especially if I have to run from these guys!"

"Selest is too important and dangerous to lose now! You have to try! It would be so much easier to just kill her though..."

"What are you saying?! I'm not killing anyone else!"

Felix struggles to drag Selest with him as he runs away, but she puts up far too much resistance to make it possible. She manages to vastly slow Felix down. The guard easily closes the gap and tackles Felix. "You sick son of a bi'tch! Scum like you is the worst!" he yells, restraining Felix. "Are you okay, miss? Did he hurt you? Are you alright?" he asks. Selest gets up and starts slowly walking over to where she dropped her purse. "Y-yeah... I'll be alright. Thanks to you!" Selest answers. The other guard walks over to assist his partner. "He's a lunatic! I'm so lucky you got here when you did... Be careful taking him in..." she says, hiding a smile. "YOU LIAR!" Felix yells. "Shut up, scumball!" the guard says. He hits Felix's face to keep him quiet. Selest grins as she bends over to pick up her purse.

"That was almost bad. I shouldn't take any more risks, even with this new look of mine," Chad says. He gets back into his car and takes some time to think. "You were a truly good man, Nicholas. I'll miss you..." he sighs. He starts up his car and pulls out of the gas station. "Well, I'm sure Lizor is just as full of himself as he always is, so it shouldn't be too hard to find him. I just wish I knew why he's trying to hide from me," he says.

Selest reaches into her purse and pulls out the gun she took from her apartment. The guards, who both have their backs turned to her, are too busy focusing on Felix to notice. She lets out a flirty whistle to catch their attention. "Now, now, boys. Looks like you shouldn't always let your penises do the thinking," she says. The two guards stare frozen at the gun threatening to end their lives. "W-what do you think you're doing, miss?" one of the guards asks. "I appreciate you saving me. Really, I do. But I can't have you stealing the star of our show," Selest says. She motions for them to step away from Felix with the gun. In that moment, the guards' foolish thoughts of saving an innocent young woman from a cruel man disappear completely. "Felix, get up. You look pathetic lying on the ground like that," she laughs. He stands up carefully, with his eyes locked on Selest. While she is focused on Felix, one of the guards slowly tries getting the taser from his belt. Selest notices his hand move from the corner of her eye and, in a surprisingly swift motion, turns and shoots him in the leg. The guard screams in pain and falls to the ground. His partner, hoping to make use of the chaos, rushes towards Selest. She quickly recovers from the first shot and doesn't hesitate to shoot the other guard in the chest. The bullet stops him cold. He stares at her, both confused and surprised, and joins his partner on the ground. "Idiots! I really didn't want to get my hands dirty," she says. Felix stares in horror as she walks over to the wounded guard and finishes him off.

From behind the trees, the third man watches Selest and Felix. Once Selest has her gun pointed at Felix, he reveals himself. "Missing me already, Felix? My, my. I wasn't even gone all that long!" he says. Felix's entire body boils with hatred. "Come on, George. We have to get moving before your idiot of a brother gets here," Selest says. They tie Felix's hands behind his back and force him to walk with them. George is unarmed, but Selest keeps her gun pointed at Felix. "Did you really have to kill the guards?" George asks. "Not like I wanted to. They were in our way. It's not my fault we're in this mess anyway," she says. George clicks his tongue in disgust. He knows it's his brother's fault the plan got screwed up. Felix wiggles his hands and realizes the rope isn't as tight as it could be. Selest and George continue to argue, paying less attention to Felix. He realizes his opportunity and manages to get his hands free, but he leaves the rope on and remains calm. They stop and hide behind some trees on the edge of the parking lot. "Now, we wait for that pathetic brother of mine to get here," George says.

Okay, for serious this time. I'm seriously going to get this going again. No day+ long waits. I'm gonna do a burst of entries to get this story in full swing once more. I don't want to keep getting more disconnected from it.

Entry 87. June 20, 2009.

"Tch! Seriously? I know I could catch them off-guard right now. I could overpower either of them right now!"

Too risky, Felix. Wait for Tyler and see if another opportunity presents itself. Sometimes it's best to wait and do nothing.

"Is this guilt for previous decisions or something?"

Felix...

"Heh, no, I'm kidding. I understand. I'll wait it out and see what opens up for me."

Selest sits down on the grass and motions for Felix to join her. He obeys but finds it hard to not kick her face in at such an advantageous angle. "What the hell are you doing?" George asks. "Oh stuff it already. We have some time yet, so I'm sitting down," Selest responds. Felix notices the tension between them is at critical levels. He moves his hands around one more time to make sure the ropes could be removed at any moment. Satisfied, he scoots around a bit to better conceal his back and the loosened ropes. "Honestly, it's unbelievable that you're giving ME crap. I've been nearly perfect up until this point! If it wasn't for you and your little sh'it of a brother, everything would be just fine!" she says, waving the gun around. George eyes her angrily. "Perfect my ass. We've already had to improvise because of you too! You completely blew the plan at the club!" he argues. "Oooh, please! That plan had to be abandoned! It wouldn't work out!" she says. "Right. More like you got drunk and botched it, you little slut!" he says, glaring at her. Selest springs up and points the gun at George. "You worthless sh'it. You and your brother have been nothing but trouble for Rose and us. You dare to call me, Oscar's daughter, a slut? Do you even know who you're talking to?" she threatens.

Lizor pulls up to a small building with the name "Samco Shipping" spelled out in large, fancy letters on it. He gets out of his car and walks quickly to the front door. "M-mr. Calranian! S-sir! If...if I had known you were coming! I wo-" the young clerk says. "Shut up, you buffoon! Let him know I am here and to get ready as soon as possible!" Lizor yells. The young man runs through the door to the back, and Lizor follows him with long, powerful strides. The clerk trips over something on the floor as he races to his boss' office and falls flat on his face. Lizor kicks him as he walks by. "Get back to your post! I will handle this myself!" he says. Through his office's window, the manager of Samco Shipping notices Lizor rapidly approaching. He flies out of his chair and greets him at the door. "Sir... This is so unexpected..." he says. "I don't need to announce my visits! I pay you fools to be ready at any time! You damn well better learn to be," he roars, "and the plans have changed. We need to move out TODAY!" The manager's face contorts and he cowers before the dictator looming above him. "But... Sir, you see..." he pauses. Lizor curses and punches the manager. "No excuses! GET READY!" he says.

"Knowing Lizor, he's probably too stupid to have changed his cover operation's location to a different front business," Chad thinks. As he pulls up to the Samco Shipping parking lot, he notices Lizor's car. "I'll be damned... That arrogant bastard," he laughs.

George cautiously backs away from Selest. "Whoa now... What do you think you're doing?" he asks. A single bead of sweat rolls down his cheek. Selest walks towards him with the gun pointed at his head. "You are a mere gnat in this hierarchy! Know your place!" Selest says, spitting at him. He backs into a tree and freezes. "Selest... Let's not be hasty now... I was just upset. Upset... I'm sorry..." he begs. Due to Selest's ego, there is now a decent distance between them and Felix. He watches them carefully. Through the trees, Felix notices a car pull up not far away from where his is parked. His mind instantly shifts gears. The tension between Selest and George finally bubbles over, and she snaps. She hits him with the gun and stands over him with lethal eyes. "Go ahead, shoot him. Bastard deserves it. You'll get yours next," Felix thinks. He throws off the ropes around his hands and tears out of the trees and into the parking lot, full speed at the car that just pulled up.

Suddenly, Roberta notices Felix fly out of the trees and over the fence. His face is locked on something to the side. She looks over and realizes he's running straight for another car. The wind intensifies. A flash of lightning illuminates Felix's face. A roar of thunder causes her to jump. "Wait a second, that wasn't thunder..." she says. It was a gunshot. Tyler gets out of his car and looks at Felix running towards him, and then into the trees, where he heard his worst fear coming to reality. "Felix! What was that? What's going on?" he screams.
