Perion Glitch.

Describe the problem. Be as specific as possible!: Error -2147287038 or as I like to call it 'The Perion Glitch' is where you go into Dances with Balrog's place and you automatically d/c. Whenever you sign back on, you get d/ced. You're character is completely stuck, with no way of getting out cause you d/c within 1/10th of a second.

Anyone else? I heard you have to click the character and d/c your internet at the same time to do a smuggle trick but just so you can get out. Unfortunately I only have a laptop at the moment, so I can't unplug my cord, I'd have to flip my modems switch..

This reminds me of the KoC incident, and a much more ancient Sauna trap glitch (I'm not sure how the latter happened, and it took a good 2-3 weeks to resolve).

This has happened to me years ago, not in the Warrior Sanctuary but rather in Bigger Ben. I entered, dc'ed, logged back in and heard BGM playing and instantly dc'ed before any image could've been shown.

I suspected something was bugged in the map.wz file so I resorted to reinstallation, but it was out of question with 2KB/sec downloading speed. So I simply asked a friend to move my char out of the map on a noob, and steered clear of Bigger Ben for the next few patches.

A patch cleaned it up, I suppose.
So if anything, maybe next patch will come with some map.wz alteration and inadvertently fix this issue. Else, this will be fixed with rightful attention similar to the KoC's Hall of Fame.

It's probably caused by a gMS exclusive CS item not showing up properly on rankings and thus screwing up a level 200 NPC. Same thing happened with a level 120 cygnus character with the dog tail cape. My guess would be white ninja sandals for transformation because those were never supposed to show up in the first place but rather used to transform into the thief representative in efpq.

A new (but from Beta) friend of mine accidentally advanced and did it - now he doesn't want to be a Warrior. ;~;
