Problem Summary: Obtained keylogger through a website download
I was playing an online game called Maplestory when I recieved a message ingame, leading me to a website (gameleak.net). This website required me to download a plugin to play videos from the media section on the website. This download however, was not a plugin, but a keylogger trojan recognized by my game security program called nProtect Gameguard. I have not typed in any passwords on any websites since then in fear of losing personal information etc. After trying various programs (Spybot Search and Destroy, CCleaner)my scan result in NProtect Gameguard still shows that I have the trojan. I have considered reformatting my computer. Help and feedback would be greatly appreiciated. Thanks!

Dont go to a website unless you know the person well enough to trust them. This thread is only for warning others.

Obvious scam is obvious. However, it never hurts to expose them.

On Topic: Nice Mesos.

Off Topic: I've gotten messages like that too, it's a keylogger website just ignore it. They didn't specifically target you, they do that to every shop they see. Don't worry about it.

That's why I posted my shop. Pic was taken today, before I even saw this thread. Lol. Anyways, it's obnoxious, and could be done away with easily.

At first i thought the nice mesos was directed at me, then I remembered I hid my inventory beneath my shop O.o

hmmm....After reading this, i was wondering that is this one of the reason why that led to the sudden increase of mass hacking cases in the m'sea community just recently...

I got this a few weeks back and I thought it was because the person liked the godly items I was selling. I went to the site and it said to download a certain version of a program I was sure I already had. Then I figured it must be some sort of scam site so I ran an antivirus and behold, there was malware.

It was after. I was singing at Oblivion 4, hence the weird typos/breaks in song.

This is the same thing as those Smega that advertise scam sites throughout servers except now directed at the Away From Killing people, oh joy...

I saw something similar about a month ago in Scandalia, with JimRead advertising MaplePals site again through a certain Ludi Free Market place, good to know that Nexon does nothing (or rather know nothing) about these people.
