OHMYF'UCKINGGODWHATHAVEIBEENDOINGTHISWHOLETIME?!
This thing is f'ucking AMAZING. I just started using it today and I got cheats for Mario Kart Wii (It's fun as hell spamming some items, gtfo.) Quake, DOOM 1 and 2, SNES and Genesis Emulators/ROMs running. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT. I AM NOSTALGIAING ALL OVER MYSELF AND THE ROOM.
If you have a Wii, SD card, and a slot for it on your PC, you owe it to yourself to get this sh'it. Goddamn.

Follow the instructions to get the Homebrew Channel up on your Wii. You will need to format your SD card before you copy anything, so backup any data that is on it.
After you have the Homebrew channel up, format your SD card again and you're free to do whatever you want. Most applications are simple to install and use.

Well, the website says you have to have Twilight Princess, which I don't have. Is it worth me getting that?

Twilight Princess hack is outdated and no longer used. Just use the link I posted.
EDIT: Before I leave for the day, I'll help some of you get started on how to emulate old games after you have your Homebrew channel up.
I REPEAT. ONLY DO THIS AFTER YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED THE HOMEBREW CHANNEL AND REFORMATTED YOUR SD CARD.
Anyway I'll do SNES since it's the greatest console ever made. Go HERE and download the link named Snes9x GX 4.0.9 - Wii.zip. Once downloaded unzip it to your desktop. There should be two folders on your desktop now. Apps and Snes9x. If your SD card is empty, just drag and drop both folders into it. From here on you have to put new applications into the Apps folder or else it won't load properly.
Now all you need is some ROMs. When you click on the snes9x folder you'll notice it already has a sub folder for ROMs. Just find a ROM of any SNES game you'd like and throw it right in there. Once that's done you're pretty much good to go. Plug the SD card back into your Wii and start up the Homebrew Channel and you'll be greeted to the SNES emulator. Click on it and choose your game and NOSTALGIA.
There's emulators for Genesis, N64, NES, Sega Saturn (I think) but I'll leave you to figure it out. It's pretty much the same as this little tutorial.

Yeah, to be honest, I don't like the Wii as a console. But if there's any reason to get it, is Homebrewing. I read up on that about 2 weeks back, ironically....! But you'd also need an older version Wii, and not one of the more recent ones as well. Heh.

Enjoy your 2-inch screen, horrible controls, and choppy games.

Sorry to bring this back up, but does using the Homebrew channel give any chance of your Wii breaking, or anything of that sort?

Installing Homebrew takes literally 30 seconds. 99.9% of the time, you'll get through that 30 seconds smooth and quick like everyone else, and once you're done with that, you can back up your Wii's system files onto the SD card you used to install Homebrew, so if anything ever does happen with your Wii after future piratan, you can REVIVE IT
