It's more like going for 100% completion, the last 20 levels are proportionally a massive waste of time for how much you get back.

Kind of hard to believe that a map that's less mobby than Skeles and only has a marginal increase in exp can beat O2/O3/O4. Especially since they stun. Oblivion is easily 10-20% faster than Skeles for the above classes mentioned. i'm sure you are right about the classes you mentioned. Skeles, Dukus and oblivion are all well and good, totally decent spots for people up to like 150-160. My thunderbreaker started there at 10X something and had a blast, but for my 180 NL its kinda lame. I hope those blockheads turns out to be Krakians monsters around like lvl 140 with a better hp/exp ratio than phailblivion.

Oblivion 4 has a 19ish:1 ratio though, which is the best ratio in the game, and is only held by a few monsters...

While thats true for most of the higher lvls monsters we have stuff like kentauruses, with 23:1 ratio. Either way, imo, Oblivion is not good enough to be considered a spot you go to after skeles. And about the blockheads... crap.

Greg Wrote:Well, you're level 200; can you give anyone a good reason to level past 180? Whether there's more high-level-friendly released content or not, there's pretty much no reason for anyone to level past 180 other than to "be 200". Now? There is none. But theoretically? There's an infinite amount. Just make content 180-200 exclusive. We already have PQs within that level range (EPQ is 35-55), so why not make an extremely difficult and challenging PQ for that range where the higher level you are, the more you can contribute and thus earn from the PQ? There are a countless number of ways Nexon could cater to specific level ranges and make the game fun and exciting, but they just don't. Most because the 180-200 population is not even 1% of the overall GMS population, but either way there should be SOMETHING. When players like yourself say there is no reason to level past a certain point, you know the game is flawed at that point. There should always be SOMETHING worth doing, no matter what level you are.

So basically Draco mount and Echo of Hero isn't worthwhile to you, and you expect Nexon to pump out stuff as if there wasn't such a thing as "time constraints" and "time lines for development".

Even if they were to release areas "exclusive" to certain levels (Which I, personally, can never see happening (aside from PQs and such)), they'll get a ton of hype and end up boring and bland a few months later just like everything else that isn't related to a faster-moving EXP bar.

level 200s should get max stats and +100 w. attack just for spending that much time/effort hitting 200 and a coupon for a free shower at your local hotel

Well, if they don't give us some form of spoiler as they had been doing over the summer, I'd say it's safe to assume that it's crap that isn't worth spoiling.

KajitiSouls Wrote:So basically Draco mount and Echo of Hero isn't worthwhile to you, and you expect Nexon to pump out stuff as if there wasn't such a thing as "time constraints" and "time lines for development". Then hire new people? Whether you agree or not, the U.S. Government has accomplished more in regards to health care reform in the last 8 months than Nexon has accomplished in terms of high level content in the past 4 years, in my humble opinion. People also say the economy needs a boost with the growth of new jobs. HELLO? Want to keep a high leveled community that pays OUT THE BUTT for this game? Hire some new developers and designers to cater to those whims. Hell, I'd love to work for crappy student pay as a part-time job to be creative and work on some new ideas for content development. But I have seen NOTHING towards even the slightest hint that they've even considered 180-200 content beyond the three Lv. 200 quests, which saddens me for one of the Top 3 MMORPG companies in the world. And personally speaking Kaj, I thoroughly enjoy my Draco and Echo, and keep playing this game because I find new goals to challenge me and occupy my time, but I'm referring to dozens of friends I have (and I'm sure anyone has) that are 150+ who have quit or are severely close to quitting because they find no reason to play the game anymore aside from leveling or merchanting, which gets boring to anyone in time. True that. CWKPQ is a fantastic example since it was hyped as the PQ designed "for all classes, for higher levels, and with a very rewarding bonus." We all know the bonus is decent, but devalued by Gach box events, so hardly worth it anymore. The bosses are fun and, for the most part, does well at catering to high levels. I'd be lying if I said at 200 I can fall asleep and watch T.V. while bossing at CWKPQ - you actually have to watch what you're doing to survive. But the implementation of classes? REQUIRING 2 of each branch to sign up and 1 of each to actually participate? It's rather difficult spontaneously creating a CWKPQ run for this reason, as finding people to fit the requirements is near impossible without prior planning. For this reason I recant my statement about 180-200 "PQ-like" content, as I'm sure that would fail miserably due to the inability of finding people who could go, and go at the PQ well. I guess a 150-200 PQ would be more beneficial, but even then the mystique of PQs after the utter flaws of CWKPQ is an unnerving thought towards such potential content. Who knows what we truly need, but the consensus is clear: 150-200s need more reasons to play this game instead of leveling and upgrading gears.
