How to adjust my Scanning Frequency?
#1
Okay so I'm trying to play Gunbound and I ran into a problem that perplexed me for quite a while, but after some time it dawned on me that this issue used to happened to me when I tried to play Maple on a foreign machine before, and it was resolved by adjusting my scanning frequency via the file Setup.exe included in the MapleStory folder.
At the very least, I believe that is the problem.

 Miscellaneous facts about my machine
So the question is, how do I find out what frequency is suitable for GB gameplay and how do I change mine to that? I tried googling but as expected I couldn't squeeze any bit of info out of it; probably poor skills.

Thanks in advance. Chin

Trial and error is one way. Just throwing that out there. I think that's also how setup.exe works (but instead of having to open GB, you just have to confirm seeing a bouncing box)

Unless you have over 50 frequencies to choose from... o.O

Generally refresh rate would be found under Control Panel, then Display or some shyt like that. (you'll most likely need to go to advanced settings for adjusting screen resolution)

There's only 2 refresh rates for my screen, 60Hz and 59Hz, which can be seen in my display section in dxdiag:
 Spoiler
I initially mistook this for the scanning frequency but apparently they aren't one. (Maple Setup.exe set my SF at 70Hz)

I tried using all 5 Scanning Frequencies that Maple offers and run GB, but oh well.. Goggleemoticon
