I did consider that, but the ball bounces on the same plane throughout the animation. It's easier to tell a ball is bouncing away from the viewer when it bounces on a different plane. (Think parallax.)

Unless of course, the "camera" is sitting on the floor. In that case, completely disregard everything I've said.

Yeah, I saw that as I was making it, but was too lazy to change it. Said to myself that if anyone noticed it, I would've replied with what Shikage said. : P
