Because it's the same table as amplification. Some of them are copied. Another example would be the MP recovery table and oak barrel.

Because you're looking at the table for Elemental Amplification, not Advanced Homing.

Then where is Advanced Homing F4.

Advanced Homing
Description: Deals more damage on the monster affected by Homing.
Pre-requisite: Homing Level 30
Max Level: 20

Nice, it'll be interesting to see what TT does to our skillbook economy whenever it gets here.

Curiously, the first post in this thread says it's your third job instructor who gives you the quest to collect the Pentagon and such, but actually here's what happens.

Third job instructor gives you letter of introduction, then names your fourth job instructor and tells you to take them the letter. You go and do that, then they talk to you about the advancement and tell you to get the items. Third job instructor is not involved aside from the Letter of Introduction to the next guy.

I just did this in the last few minutes so I know it is right.

Not to be a stickler to this already in-depth thread, but is there any possibility it will be updated to reflect new job balance updates and new monsters dropping skill books (like leviathan dropping stance 20)?

Also i would like to rectify that Papulatus drops Shadow Claw 20.
In the monsterbook it only say Shadow Claw 30.
(i dun really think this will help anyway, since i got the feeling this thread is dead.)

Fiel, could you add that Energy Orb has Chain Lightening Syndrome (it's damage halves every monster).

Is Wind Booster spammable like Knuckle Booster? Or might it have a cooldown we dont know about?
