MapleStory Error Code
#1
On my sister's Dell Inspiron Mini, whenever I download and try to play MapleStory, the error code:
-2147467259 (Unspecified Error)
comes up. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting the files and re downloading them, the whole enchilada. Is there any way to fix this?

I have the same problem on my desktop.

There's nothing wrong with the MapleStory files; from what I hear there's something wrong with DirectX or your graphic/video card.

Someone halp us?

*DirectX specifics, according to dxdiag*

For those of you who are going to ask, this is Vista Home Premium, SP1 (32 bit, lol); I also had the same problem before I upgraded the desktop from XP Pro to Vista.

I know that the problem has to do with those Acceleration thingies being disabled, but how the hell do you get 'em...enabled? :f6:

Sorry if I stole your thread, but if we have the same error code, that means we have the same problem, no? Wink

Tis fine, as long as it helps the question get answered.

My problem occurs on Windows XP, though, atm, I don't have access to it.

If it doesn't fix it, just wait for a new patch. That usually fixes the problem, whatever is causing it.

Thanks, I'll check that as soon as I get home from school.
