"What to buy" for archers~Guide + Questions

Im a level 66 Hunter with about 20mill to buy better equips with.
My current equips are:
17str/16dex Zhelm
16 Dex Blue Tai
9 Dex White Justice Cape
8 Weapon Attack Work Gloves.
86 attack Asianic Bow
3 Dex Green Steel-Tip Boots
Clean Earrings.

I don't need a level 70 Bow because I have a 95attack Golden Hinkel and my lvl70 overall.
Also I have a question about when should I get a 20+ Dex overall instead of scrolling them with 100% scroll.

I'd say wait till you're 90 to get a new overall as those are more often scrolled and it'd be easier to find a 20+ dex 90 overall than a 20+ dex 70 overall.

Only immeadiate upgrade you can make is to get a PAC (2/6ish? Not sure what 20 mill can get you).

Shoes can wait till 80 where dark wing boots are commonly scrolled.

alrite so i'm lvl 115 crossbowman, and i just got scammed of my 12 atk wgs, my 3/8 dex pac, and 8 dex earrings. what would you recommend wasting the last bit of my mesos on? my mesos count is currently 70m.

Actually, the method I cited is the poor man's way of achieving 20 Dex, (6 base + 5 from one 30, + 9 from 100% the other 9 slots.) I was just trying to say that no Bowman ever needs to have an overall of below 20 Dex. This would not work for Warriors becuase they need the Accuracy from 60s, but for us Bowmen acc is worthless. Thanks for including it.

22-23 dex would probably result from hitting one 30 and then 60ing the rest of the overall. My own overall is 23 Dex, and that's how I got it.

I am not exact on the cost of overall 10s for dex.
But I clearly remember seeing them for 250k at the KPQ area (noob monezy)
So you could do 10% followed by a 30%
and that 14 Dex 8 slots on a 4 base overall.

Well, it depends. You want to blow it scrolling or on recovering gear?

I'd say 7 dex earrings (20 millish?), 8 atk wg (10 mill) and a 2/8ish PAC.

Okay so I'm trying to decide which one has top priority.
Should I upgrade my 16 dex overall into a 26+ dex overall
OR
upgrade my speed shoes into facestompers [ 2 atk 2~4 dex]?
I'll be doing both but which one should come first?

Shoes: Average yellow pierre shoes +3 jump, +4 speed.

I got about 27m to spend.

I'm not really worried about speed since I train at newts + I'm usually partied with some NL. Thanks for your input.

Nothing big you can upgrade right now, with the prices the way they are, so I think the you should save up for a zhelm (a big boost for a really low price) and then 100% a Kandiva.

As the above said, a z-helm and a 100%'d kandiva would be good to save up for/get. That being said, as kandivas dont need strength, you can perhaps switch your cape to a dex one. A PAC would be nice but would probably use up all the money you have (preventing you from getting a z-helm) so I'd say perhaps get an 8 dex napoleon for now or something.

@Celsious: I agree with Carlos there. Get shoes first. The lack of speed shouldnt be much of a problem as most of the time, training at newties is just stationary shooting for the most part.

im thinking of getting a neschere that was 118+ but they r soooo expensive
i saw one in fm 118 atk for 2b and the H/O is 1b
clean neschere in bera is bs -.- 45m for one(ones dropped from ht)
i dont get how ppl land 4~5 30% so easily on a nes it took me an average of 670m to make the 110 dark raven yes u heard it right 670m.
another problem im having is base str, i currently have 60 base str+21 str thats enough for my raven only i was planing to get a ht necklace early but that might be a problem since most ht runners accept bm over mm...

i dont think i can wait till 14x to get another xbow, any ideas without raising my base str? or is that the only option

Obviously I'll go for the shoes if the prices are around the same, but the prices is what's stopping me from deciding. I have 230m to spend, not sure how much I'll have after I sell one of those.

Those sold for roughly 200 mill. Your 9 stat shoes will have almost no resale value, especially since its stats and not dex, sorry to say.

In terms of stat gain, you'd gain 8 from a pair of shoes whereas if you'd be looking at 15 dex earrings for an 8 stat upgrade. Of course there's always the split up option, in which you could probably get 14/1 shoes and say 11 dex earrings or something along those lines. Just tinker with the market prices you can find and go from there.

Since I'm continuously ignored on Sleepywood when I ask about stuff like this, I'll hope I will actually get a response here. Here's my current equips and situation (level 78 Ranger, gonna be 79 soon):

- 101 ATT, 1 DEX Golden Hinkel
- 17 DEX Dark Linnex
- 7 ATT Work Glove
- 1/2, +90 HP/MP Spiegalman Necklace
- 7 DEX, 11 Jump Green Snowshoes
- 14 DEX Dark Patriot
- 4 DEX Leaf Earrings
- 1 DEX, +60 HP Branch Nose (plan to scroll last two slots with 2 more DEX)

So what would be up for my level 80 upgrade? I'm already trying to find someone selling a 21+ DEX Dark Pris for my next overall. And I know I'm gonna sell my Hinkel for about ~100 mil. to afford a nice 105/106/107 (with extra cash) Arund. What else should I look into?
