Last night some time bewteen 10:51 PM - 6:00 AM EST, I was hacked. I have no idea who it was or why they would have done it (not really I have my suspicions), but it happened. I worked for 4 long years to get to be a 170 marksman. I still don't believe it! 170 as a marksman! But it all came down last night... As a warning to other people out there, there is a way for people to hack your MSN account if they know the e-mail. If your MSN account is your e-mail for maple, well, you could be next. No I'm not trying to spread some new "hack." People that know me know that I don't give my info away to ANYONE, not even the people I've known for all 3 years. On my account the hacker took several items, and all 55k nx I had left from selling a valuable item, and, from the looks of rankings, they took my 4dex facestompers, my 26dex 6 slot zhelm (karmaed with my nx), 13 att WGs (lol), and probably my 3 rings from the miwok event... Thank GOD I had such good friends online at the time, everyone in KaR/ALC alliance. If not for them the hacker probably would've dropped my reverse equips, too. I just found out that the hacker smega'ed with my nx too? they said something like "Bryan will have his account back tommorrow." and I will, because he gave the info to a very good friend, who changed it for me. If the hacker was able to get my e-mail password just by knowing my e-mail, then they will probably strike again, so I wont be rebuilding. With school starting in 3 days and cross country, I don't have the time or energy to make a new account from level 1. Many of my friends offered help, which I have to decline. Thank you everyone for all your support and encouragement, I will miss you all.

Bryan, I won't undermine how painful this must've been. It's the complete destruction of everything you've worked for for the past few years. But don't let this kill maple for you. I'm more than happy to help you rebuild, and I'm sure everyone else in the alliance is too. You're a good friend and I don't want to see you quitting because of the actions of 1 person.

If you want to move on, perhaps that is for the best. New adventures await you in the great outdoors! Wash your anger down with some brandy, then head on over to Vegas for some serious f*cking gambling. You will return home happy

Holy pomegranate man, that is sad and such a sick thing to do, I sure hope it doesn't happen to you again when you change e-mails. Let's get the whole alliance to hunt down the hacker and make him regret! xD

Since nexon is incapable of caring about this, I have decided to contact the Windows Live team. Something as serious as losing an e-mail account should be looked in to. People use their e-mails to pay for bills, they have their social security numbers there and credit card information. Luckily I don't have anything valuable (besides access to my nexon account). I'm afraid that they'll be able to hack people on my friend list... Hopefully this is resolved soon and the pimento who did this is brought down. Stealing an e-mail can be as deadly as identity theft, and I plan to make sure this person will never go unpunished.

I can't get it changed atm, I have no access to my account. As soon as I get it back I'm requesting for an e-mail change and not signing off my Marksman until it's changed.

Ack, I was afraid of that. I was training with Brandon last night, and I couldn't believe it when he told me it was a hacker on your account, instead of you. I'm sorry for your losses. Getting hacked at such a high level is a really crappy way to go.

The hacker just logged on my account, whispered my mule the info, and logged out. What the pineapple. I currently have access to the account. He then logged on iHasters in our guild fm and talked with people, saying how the only ToS he broke was owning more than 1 account and how he wasn't a hacker just how he took advantage of the moment. Bullshit. I ss'ed the entire convo but cannot post it here due it containing my account info. He also told me how he was able to hack me through MSN, so the MSN hack DOES exist.

Neither Nexon (obviously) or Windows Live has responded as of now. The hacker also gached with my NX, getting 2 claw att 100% GM scrolls, and a white scroll (he took them all). He did leave some scrolls he got from gach on my account, but only the crappiest ones. I had too many scrolls in my inventory and MTS to sort out which ones he gached and which ones I already had, but it doesn't matter since they weren't as expensive as the other items.

BTW, the hacker was smart enough to tell me his address, although I doubt it's actually his. Will post when I get a reply from Nexon/Windows Live.
