Elemental Reset Doesn't work on Fire Immune

Describe the problem. Be as specific as possible!:
Casting Elemental Reset on a Blaze Wizard is completely ineffective on fire immune monsters (such as Fire Tusks). I was doing 1 damage with the initial hit of Fire Gears on a fire tusk. I then casted Elemental Reset and still did 1 damage then I also did 1 damage with Magic Claw, Fire Strike and Fire Pillar.
