Challenging Pianus Boss
#1
Backstory
In the extreme loneliness of Right Pianus, it is said to cast a reflection on the other side of the wall to create Left Pianus - a weaker form of itself. The Right Pianus, in the most extreme depression, summons the Soul of Pianus to the Maple World with its dying breath.

How to get to the boss:
Kill Right Pianus while Left Pianus exists. A portal appears where right Pianus is after killing him.

What the boss looks like:
A simple Pianus recolor would be fine - make it more purple in hue.

Soul of Pianus
Level: 125
HP: 166,000,000
MP: 30,000
EXP: 3,600,000
Physical Attack: 890
Physical Defense: 1350
Magic Attack: 850
Magic Defense: 0
Elements: Weak to Fire
Skills: Weakness, Seal, "Reverse Directions" curse (forgot the name), Super KB with Beam attack, Summons 15x Goby, Summons 20x Goby, Summons 10x Goby
Boss Type
Aggressive

Map:
"Swimming" type map
Upper Spikes cause 1500 damage
Lower Spikes cause 750 damage
Boxed in portal area is an area safe from Soul of Pianus's attacks (but not necessarily the summons)

That could actually make sense, and to enter the portal the Pianus Statue is required. Make it profitable?

I really like the room layout. The idea of a swim-enabled map to fight a stationary boss would be a cool, new experience (for versions without Neo Tokyo, anyway).

Are you serious?

so ranged can just stay at the bottom and take 750 dmg every sec instead of beams and stuff. sounds easy.

and would it be worth it to get the drops when they fall onto the spikes?

Yeah, a liitle more info. XD

Did anyone else for some unexplained reason think of Bubble Man or Burst Man when looking at the layout?

I have had the same idea (major boss in a swim map) : )

And the left pianus being right pianus' reflection is just so creative Heart

I was assuming that the room is too big vertically to hit him while standing in the spikes...

This thing is gonna be harder to get into than HT in Scania.

That is stupid compared to the rest of its stats -_-;

We don't need to have another rock to kill, and one that doesn't 1/1 often at that, if at all (attacks weren't specified).

I'm wondering why you replaced spawns with Gobies instead of floating Bloody Booms. It would be interesting, at the least.

166m doesn't really qualify for "rock" status - a party of 6 can easily down that in 5-10 minutes.

Goddammit. That's one of the WORST new skills Nexon ever gave to bosses. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it.
