Downloading Issues

Today, I downloaded the MapleStory Downloader and started the program but it says; "Your system is currently not allowing access to our servers". so I tried the "old fashioned way" but I still had the same problem. Help?

I had this issue at first but then I tried running it again and it worked. I doubt this will be of any help.

Thing is, I never had issues with the Downloader before till now. My computer seems like its dying

Do you use XP or Vista? (I assumed Vista from the start)

I use Windows XP.

It's your computer, back-up everything on your computer and reformat that peach!

Meh I thought about formating my computer since well, I bought it 2 years ago and I didnt format it even once, but its pretty strong computer, but whatever..
But, how can I be sure that formating it will solve the problem?

I would never consider formatting to solve a problem like this....

Look into your host file and any program that has access to write to it. Also any firewall/network monitering programs may also be to blame.

If you giv us a list of things running while attempting to dl we would have a better idea of what to suggest, and ways to fix it.

I got AVG 8.5 and Firewall as an anti-virus programs running on [And Fraps, but I dont think it has something to do with it]. Other than that, nothing.
