Full of win.
We watched Twilight on the way to Washington DC for my 8th grade trip last May, and I actually watched it despite the difficulty of doing so (like, set-up of bus, volume, etc). I got so confused every 10 minutes or so, but I sort of understood the storyline. It was okay, but in general, what a suckish movie. At the end, all the girls were screaming (except some, which I applaud them for) that the movie was shut off. Oh GOD NO. We missed the last minute and a half of the dance scene and the credits. Boo frickin' hoo.

Kurtle Wrote:It's not that...her writing style is phenomenal which was the reason that I read all 4 novels. However, the superior fandom for such a pomegranatety plot is beginning to annoy me. The storyline was god awful and the main characters are both idiots. No. Just no. I have actually read Twilight, and let me tell you, even if you ignore how crap the plot is and how stupid the characters are, the horrible writing style is enough to ruin the book.

Her writing in The Host is much better. I liked that book more than the whole twilight series.

The storyline was god awful and the main characters are both idiots. Whoa there, buddy. That's what happens with anything popular. Might as well find some lame excuse to sue those behind Star Trek, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, and any other huge cultural phenomenon within the past 50 years. I read all four and loved them. Does that mean I appreciate the fandom? I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and thought it was well done, but I find in extremely poor taste to wish someone would "lose every penny to their name" simply because you don't like the story they constructed. Let's be a little more civil with our comments, please.

This is the best thread ive read in a while
*moves on to bashing the books and movie*Have you freaking looked at the damn font and spacing in that piece of shit? Its like size 16 font with 4x spacing, you could easily fit 2 more stories inbetween each of the sentences written on each damn page.
