A question for how the Hermit/Night Walker 3rd Advancement's Alchemist works with Zombify:

At max level, Alchemist gives an addition 50% in potion use, which makes potions have 150% effect. However, I also know that Zombify reduces potion effectiveness by 50%, so when Alchemist and Zombify are combined, which effect will be in place:

1. 150% (Maxed Alchemist) potion effectiveness gets cut into half with potions at 75%,

OR

2. Alchemist +50% and Zombify -50% potion effectiveness cancel each other out and leaves potion effect at 100%?

This is just something I've wondered about since I have never got a chance to test out which outcome it is (As I'd rather not risk dying at Margana during the CWKPQ boss fight. Thanks to anyone that knows the answer.

At what level does Savage Blow outdamage Double Stab? looking at the tables on Hidden-Street am I to assume it's at level 8? 68%x4 = 272% whille DS at level 20 is 130%x2 =260%. Am I applying the right logic here?

Double Stab is way faster than Savage Blow. SB outdamages DS at level 13.

Is there a guide that explains Bandits/CBs/Shadowers in depth like the other class guides? The closest thing I can find is the SW but that's outdated as all hell.

And it's training section is very outdated.

Not trying to be a mean person over here or attacking you if you feel like I'm doing just that.

Well I'm not following that guide on str too much although it does help I only have 20 base str + a 22 htp and str top as well as a belt and other stuff

Level 21.

Most daggers are Fast (4). Therefore, Double Stab (600ms) results in a DPS of 466.67%/s
Conversely, Savage Blow only has a meager speed of 840ms with a DPS of 507.1%/s at 21, but only 464.3%/s at 20.
However, if you had booster, you only need 15 Savage Blow to outDPS Double Stab, doing 472.2%/s.

In terms of damage per hit, Savage Blow only starts winning at level 9 (72*4 = 288).

Hello, I have a level 103 hermit with 47 base dex. Its almost completley stripped off.

Here's what I have.
9 att wg
10 dex 1 att pink adventurer cape
Deputy star.
1 steely and 14 icicles.

Now, I want to return to my hermit, and i also have a chief bandit i want to make a shadower so its a good chance.

I have 300m in fundings to equip my hermit. what should I buy?
I will buy a zhelm ofcourse, thats 100m karma'd. but what else?
should i buy a top/bottom set or an overall with 20+ dex?

Do a ZRUN they're only about 40m. You'll save yourself 60m
So with about 260m I'd say,
Claw (30~50m depends)
Get better stars, you're not gonna look pro throwing icees at 100+ (Steelies 5m at least here in khaini they are..)
Get some BSS about 5~7 dex should only be about 70m
And last a overall I'd go for like 20 luk for now for only maybe 120m

Thats just me tho..

Use that 400 mil to leech yourself buddy. Redface Best idea out there. You can upgrade later. Goggleemoticon

Not sure if you've tested/figured it out yet, but I know it's #1, which means pot effectiveness is only at 75% max thanks to max Alchemist for Hermits/NL's/NW's. A nice 25% pot advantage versus every other class.

Edit: Ok I'll ask a thief: Do you guys respect all these new NL's who made accounts after beginning to play Maplestory?

I mean the ones who were like "Woah that looks cool. Let me make one," and consquently made a NL because they were bored or thought they could fund it or wanted to try another acc.

And then they leeched it past your level and possibly bought mesos or nx and funded it better than you. (This can go to Shadowers too I don't see this happening but ok).

Do you respect them?

Because I sure don't.

I don't respect them when they leech. I couldn't care less about their funds, however.

Question: About how much damage does Level 1 Assassinate do for a partially funded Shadower? I'm thinking of adding 1 to it for fun, but if it's a waste, I might as well max out BStep first.

Whats a good lvl to start sniping newts?
Is 76 ok because i can 100% hit them at 76.
Eh idc about how boring it is ill just put a rock on the l7 and watch k-drama while i wait for the newt to die. Then when i atked over 100times ill move around and repeat.

add atleast 1 to it for moving purposes, its a life saver when you are falling off at typhons
