The mini dungeon of skeles makes them so mobable that torp can tear all those skeles a new one before you could make much of a dent on the monks. That being said, you should get torp to 21 in the near future
Ohoh, thanks for the help. I'll max Torpedo as soon as possible.

Not only better exp, but far better money too, though it does help us quite a bit to have 2 HS mules. I can 2-hit them consistently.
That's not to say don't get Torp soon, because Torp is an excellent skill, just saying that Skeles is *not* always better than Oblivion 2.

I was just giving my personal experience, because I have pretty craptasitic equipment and no friends who'd train with someone other than a AM/Bishop. And yes, HS mules make everything better. Certainly, even if I still 3 hit them but had someone to train with and HS mules, I would recommend Oblivion 1/2.

Any idea on where to train at 116? I'm currently at newties.
I also have a irrational fear of maps that can spawn bosses. So I've been avoiding himes like the plague.
I tried typhons, but I have absolutely no patience when it comes to going back up the mountain when I fall.
And the low nightshadow spawn drives me insane.

^At 104(actually started at 90), hime has always been the best map for me exp wise. At 99 I went to green guardians in ToT, in hope of PoT, though haven't found any yet...the exp is almost as great as hime(if himes gives 10 then this gives 9). Typhon was actually not anywhere close to either of these, once you fall the exp becomes crap(rated 7-9 depends on times of falling).
At 116 I think you could give blue guardians a try. I plan to try it at 110 since I still miss them abit, since they are level 116.
Edit: Oh and maybe skele? Any mobby place should do.

Do you ever plan on posting Striker/Thunder Breaker training spots? From mid 2nd job on it's a pretty significant departure from the regular Brawler/Marauder/Buccaneer training styles at their respective levels. It would be much appreciated

I have been considering doing that, I would be willing to do it. So give me a lot of suggestions because my knowledge of Thunder Breakers is very limited.

Yes, A crow can spawn, but you just have to corkscrew your way to the exit (happened only once to me in like 110-120)
And when you enter the map, enter with barrel so you don't spawn on top of the crow and die =)

This is from my experience as a thunder breaker:
1-30: Cygnus quests, normal Brawler stuff in between.
30-50: Monster Carnival PQ % $ AND/OR
40-50: Truckers % $
51-55: C-2
51-70: Mysterious Path 3 % $
70-75: Homunculus $
70-80: Lower Ascent %
81-90: Wolf Spiders $ OR
81-90: Blue Kentaurus % $
50-70: I recommend going to mp3 as soon as you can hit the mobs there 100%. Share the map there for best ep. I recommend you take the bottom platform as Corkscrew+SSK combo there works best and consumes a small amount of potions. If you have to, take the top two platforms. It's still the same exp, but more touch damage.
40-55: Singapore in general is pretty much made for thunder breakers. Go to C-2 whenever mp3 is packed, usually during 2x events. It is still okay EXP with huge spawn and a flat map.
7x: Homunculus is a great place to farm money, and an adequate source of experience during 2x, but windraiders is better for grinding. Go to the windraider map in CWK if Lower Ascent is packed. Slightly less exp there, but it's still some of the best exp for a 7x.
8x: Wolf Spiders consumes slightly less potions than Blue Kents as there are several safe spots to spam sharks without getting hit. Kents is superior exp as they come in huge mobs in a relatively small map, but at the expense of lots of touch damage.
All of these were tested by a normal dex, very low funded Thunder Breaker with no zhelm, attack upgrades, and maple items. Some of these might be much faster at even lower levels if you have the accuracy and strength.
All of the options at 8x cost money, and Windraiders become painful during then. This makes me very depressed

^I 3hko @ Oblivion 2 (5hko with Torpedo).
solo EXP rate:
~6.5m/hr at Skeles
~7m/hr at Oblivion 2
It's faster than Skeles because you get to do more sustained mobbing.

Finally added the Strike/Thunder Breaker section and cleaned up a bit, please point out any errors.
Also, does anyone have the Shark Wave and Lightning Charge icons available for me to use?

My last update of this thread was about a month ago. Would anyone be kind enough to share any new training locations, from Haunted House II or Malaysia?

So, just tried out 20 minutes at Galloperas. Started out at about 38%, ended with 44.78%. So ill call it about 7% in 20 minutes. 7 times 3 is 21% an hour at 112 as a marauder.
Drop are moderate. On my dawn warrior I usually find around 4 equips in an hour and 1 eternal bullet every 3 hours or so. Meso drop is pretty constant as well, but i dont loot.
Pot usage was kinda meh. Might be high, not sure as i didnt check what it was before starting.
The 20 minutes was timed with a leaf crystal pot.

I tried to PM the code to you, but it exceeds the 20000 character limit for PMs. Lol. You can get the code by quoting my post though.
Thank you for volunteering, I am extremely grateful. And please, take your time.
