You sir, are a lucky peach. I went with my two friends to get their games at midnight last night, I sadly don't own a PSP so I couldn't buy it. I definitely will be getting it when I get a PSP.

I am LOVING the battle system, seriously! =D My PSP made me a happy camper for now, but a 2 GB Memory Stick won't do the trick, oh no no~. I already preordered a 16 GB Pro Duo Memory Stick, it's coming my way soon.

Reversed my order haha..
I'm getting a 360 Elite instead + BlazBlue. I see the Elite more worth it than a PSP + Dissdia. Another day Dissidia.. another day. AND REMEMBER WHO TOLD YOU ABOUT THIS! Best be thankin me.

Reason I didn't get a 360, though it did hit my mind, was because then I'd have to 'stay' at home to play games on it, which means being around my parents, I didn't want that... LOL! That and what I like about a PSP is that it's customizable in some ways, you can change the amount of memory a PSP has by inserting in cards with higher GB. That's partially why I'm getting a 16 GB one. Once 32 GB ones makes more of an appearance (and hopefully be cheaper), I'll start getting those. I'm using my PSP mostly as a music-player than as a game-system though, haha. I admit, I have a ton of games for it at the moment, but I usually listen to music on it. ;P And yes, thanks for introducing me to Dissidia <3 I love that game, haha!

Well I'm a youngin' and I love console home gaming. I mean it would be great to have something to play on the road, but hey.. I smell my next investment being a PSP/Dissidia. I'd just love to get BlazBlue, I have yet to see a bad review actually.. Every major gaming review/cheat code site has given it a 9+ which is hard to come by now-a-days (Especially IGN's hardass grading system, only 10 ever was Legend of Zelda: Orc. of time and they gave Blaz a 9.4) Says a lot about the game. Anyways, enjoy Dissidia, don't use cecil too much! Overpowered scum.

So I'm going to be getting a PSP next week which I'm crapping myself over the wait. I already downloaded like 5 games. As soon as I get it, I'm putting Homebrew on it then installing custom Firmware so I can play PSP iso/csos. Granted, PSP games are pretty cheap but if I can get them for free, I will.

I didn't mind getting a 3000 model, even though I can't soft-mod it, I'd like to own some games for once or so in my life, haha -blushes-. Anyways, uhh.. Dissidia, so far, I've tried (in this order):
-Tidus (style is awkward...) -Cloud (slow, a bit) -Squall (I love using Squall. He's perfect for me, literally. I like how he has a combination of ranged attacks, and they're swift! =) My Squall is lv 35 at the moment, the rest of my characters? Nowhere beyond lv 10, haha!!) -Sephiroth (Very slow... ugh)

Dissidia, so far, I've tried (in this order): The series 3000 PSP (aka brite) you can soft-mod. I spent most of the day yesterday looking up how to. You just need to make sure you have firmware 5.03, but if you bought FF you most likely had to update to 5.51 which I don't think you can't downgrade unless you have a Pandora battery, if at all.

Pandora's are only used to install custom firmware for the PSP-1000 and PSP-2000. For a PSP-3000, you need to put something called ChickHEN on the PSP then install GEN-A as custom firmware.

I was under the impression 3000s still need a pandora if they've updated to the newest real firmware then ChickHEN wont work and you need to Pandora to downgrade for CFW.

Well from what I read the PSP-3000's that are still in stores are shipped with 5.03 Firmware which is the latest one you can do anything with. Games like Dissidia and newer games have the 5.51 update one it which you can downgrade with, from what I've read.

I got the Dissidia combo too, and I'm loving it! I play Terra as my main and just got her to 100 today. I like the combat system a lot, it's easy to get into and fun.

I got my PSP a few days ago. I downloaded like 20 games. I just beat God of War. I think I'll do Dissidia next.

You guys should've waited.

Not worth it, in sony tradition they stuck a freakish price-tag on it and I'm willing to bet you cant soft or hard mod it.

Also, there is no removable battery which means no Pandora battery modding. The GO isn't worth the extra $70 from the PSP 3000, especially since I doubt you can mod it. |
