I all depends on your funding.

If you are looking for more damage, say nuts to your defense for now. Later levels on you can make up for the defense if you wish since there are hgiher level bowman overalls which you can scroll up with 100%s as well to get more dex than the sauna robe.

Okay, I have a few things to add...

First of all, defense, magic defense, and accuracy are all completely worthless stats to a bowman. Def makes such little difference its laughable, and since your primary stat is dex, you'll have acc out the ass to hit basically everything.

Second, your gear DOES make a huge impact on how much damage you do. Do what the others have told you, 100% scroll a bow for att, and 100% scroll a sauna for dex. Then after that, at lvl 50, you can 100% overall dex scroll a lvl 50 female bowman oveall, which come with 4 dex on avg.

btw, what about shoes? I currently have pink whitebottom boots with 5 slots which I could scroll with 5 100% Dex scrolls.

Would this be a worthy investment too? (I'd get 5 extra DEX). Or are there better shoes available?

yeah, shoe for dex is a very misleading scroll. the only scroll that adds DEX to shoes is 60% shoe jump.

Just equip a class shoe, and dont worry about scrolling it. I believe lvl 35 shoes can add up to 2 dex.

Since I'm unfunded I've spent some time collecting money the past few days and got myself a 10DEX Red Sauna robe and a Red Viper with 7 extra attack (has 60 attack now).

My attack has gone from 78-289 all the way up to 119-442 now!! I'm doing beautiful damage in CPQ now (highest critical at 894 so far)! Although my DEF has been cut in half, I dun think that rlly matters.

precisely. Keep it 'till lvl 50, grab a clean 4 dex bowman overall, and 100% dex it again. That's 4 more dex for essentially pocket change!

Use class gloves for now. They at least add a little bit of DEX. Glove Attack scrolls are very expensive (60% run for 8~10m apiece in Bera) so you're better off buying a cheap prescrolled one, like a 6 att one that has 0 slots and both hammers used already.

it's not necessary if you're unfunded. But more damage is always better if you can afford it.

not sure about ems, but this scroll(60% gloves for atk) usually aren't affordable by a unfunded char in any version. I'm guessing it's at least 5m per scroll in ems. But there are some quests around your level gives this scroll, takes some time but well worth it. I'm not sure what quests since i haven't done them for...ages. Xd

I'm told to wear the Sauna Robe right now and scroll it ten times with 100% DEX scrolls to make me stronger, but that means I cant wear my Huntress' Top and Bottom Armor meaning that I will have very low Defence.

Your defense won't matter if you keep using Storm Break to KB stuff away from you. Go with the Sauna.

btw, how do I make my Wind go STRless?

I cant equip any new stuff if I have no Strength right? How can there be archers who never add any stat to STR?? If you cant equip new stuff you cant do much damage isnt it?

I've already added STR so far with auto-assign, but I'd like to stop that now so I get more DEX, but its just with the equips...how can I never add STR??

Maple weapons don't require STR. All other armor does not require STR as well.

The Maple Bow is lvl 35. You should be able to find them in FM. There is also lvl 43 and 64 maple bows.
Later bowmen armor does not require strength. I do not know at what level they stop requiring strength, though.

Besides, i checked on Maplewiki and maple weapons are event weapons if I'm not mistaken arent they??

They're tradeable event items and clean ones shouldn't be too much.

Anyways starting from level 30 they require Dex only, but a scrolled sanna robe simply beats any of them. Even when you can get a level 50+ bowman overall, the speed rom the sanna can still be better depending on personal preference.

Maple weapons are event items, they are given out through variety ways every maple anniversary. They can get quite expensive for unfunded if it's not event time. But you shouldn't have any problem getting an average one for under 1mil(level 35one). Level 43 and 64 ones cost a tad bit more depending on stats.
