I tried to have an HT run three times in the last month with the appropriate people. We've either been blocked (thankfully doezx and his idiot group are banned for now) or my main SD'ers got dc hacked (i put that on myself for not reminding people to turn off whispers).

I didn't post any info on here or sleepywood and the wrong ppl still found out.

Fact remains is that when you have 20+ people going on the run, if someone doesn't want you going and they have the gumption to be a jerk, they will.

I Hope u know the right ppl so they'll leave you alone.

I'm putting mine on hold temporarily, it's frustrating after all the planning only to be shut down by someone who's holding the room up.

From details I heard from your other runners. The DC hacker was DCing people off the seduce list. Sounds like you got someone in the actual run, doing the sabotage.

But yes, that is probably the biggest problem of Horntail, is that people try to sabotage, so you gotta keep things tidy.

Of course, having more then one channel for HT will lessen the harassment greatly. Look at other servers, and their HT problems (aka, lets hold the altar from everyone!)

Learn it. Live it. Love it. Remember, check people on your buddy list and people they are friends with, and their friend's friends. Six degrees of separation kills these runs, and if people didn't openly blab about Horn Tail runs on their buddylist, they wouldn't have as much trouble with security.

HELLO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, my name is Conciente and I am here to TRY to organize a HT run. I'm going to be very clear from the start: this run will have many people that hate each other but that is not a problem if we can work together for two or three hours per week. Before or after the run, we can all KS each other, have smega wars, defame, etc. During the run, it's best if we don't talk to each other at all; this is MapleStory, not your journal. If you want to talk about "real life" stuff, get on MSN.

Requirements:

MMs/BMs/NLs/Corsairs:
* Minimum base 4850 HP before HB.

Mages:
* OHKO Wyverns and Cornians.
* 2khp and 8kMP with maxed MG. Seduce Bishops need MORE THAN THIS.
* Maxed Res.
* Max Holy Shield, optional for attacking parties only.

Dark Knights/Warriors:
* Above level 160, need 157 Accuracy after bless; below 160 need ~210 Accuracy.
* Maxed stance recommended for dks, other warriors level 20 recommended.. NOT REQUIRED.
* Heros Will a decent level for all seduce bait (warriors/shadowers)
* At least LVL1 Time Leap for Buccs.
* Dragon nights level 90 with maxed HB would be sufficient as HB mules.

Shadowers:
* Level 20 or Maxed shadow shifter for seduce mule.
* points in Heros Will.

Drop List:

The first few runs are always the hardest to decide these kinds of stuff so I am going to make it simple. ALL the drops of the first TWO runs will be SOLD in the FM to fund our FUTURE runs. Eggs will be distributed according to the level of the character(highest level loots first). Pendants will NOT be given out during the first few runs, due to trust issues. People would just sell the Pendants in the FM... SO they will be sold on the group's mush store and split the mesos accordingly.

After the first few runs, a point system will be created to determine the loot list.

Split Information:

Splits will be given out to those that SURVIVE the run in question*. Before giving out splits, we need to calculate the cost of all the apples that the run needs. After that, we can Duey the remaining mesos to the survivors. Note: the HT bank NEEDS to have "backup" mesos at ALL times, in case of a failed run or whatever.

*Exceptions may occur.

Just looking at that list so far... Co-operation between all those listed is going to cause more trouble and E-Drama on such a cataclysmic scale the likes of which even Mardia hasnt seen before..

It's called "sharing a common purpose". As long as they seriously want to HT, and with the limited options they have, they will cooperate and behave themselves for the durations of runs, or they will not go. Ironically the same concept that got Pavel kicked from the last HT group, but no less valid here.

Yea I'm almost 100% positive I can HT at lvl 141 on my Nightlord so if we really need another N/L we can always plug mine in. But I don't think a lvl 14x lol N/L will be much help. Won't be 141 for around a week or so.
