HT Pendants No Longer Hammerable?

And MoNs reign supreme...... again!

Although you got to admit Nexon didn't just ignore this issue as slowly as they used to.

Rather have MoN's being slightly stronger than having these broken 52 stat pendants which enables everyone to put their secondary stat at the lowest possible and still wear the highest level weapon.

Besides, I don't even mind the MoN's, HT pendant is still better for me as a str Shadower.

Yes, but what if your HT pendant gets removed or rollbacked? Or your account even banned for a few days. This should be around the same as with Bigfoot back then, the glitch was very obvious. And if I remember right, people got banned for abusing it.

Didn't see your post on the last page. :p It's clearly written in Nexon's ToS, if you're not sure if it's right to do it, just don't do it. Everyone knows how Eggs work, and the hammer accidently bypassed this. Sorry, still seems obvious this was a glitch to me.

I really didn't think this would turn into a comparing who has a bigger plantain now because they have a 52 stat pendant. At the end of the day it's just a pixel item, and your one up only lasts for so long. There will be a fix for this in one way or another, whether a roll back on all current 52 stats, or some sort of laughable imbalance. Either way the issue will be resolved...eventually.

Oh come on, why can't you see this was a glitch? If they wanted 2 more eggs to work, they would have made the quests for them available without the help of Vicious' Hammer. It was just programmed very badly and Vicious' Hammer bypassed it.

Wow lots of butthurt on this thread. First things first, those in Scania have a reason to be pissed, but at Excellent for hogging the cave and monopolizing the flow of +52 pendants, not at people in general for having them.

Secondly, people ALWAYS abuse glitches before they're officially known as "glitches." Let me share a list with you of all the people, according to the logic of half of those who have posted, who should be banned/experience a rollback:

1. Bishops who used Elemental Wands before they were fixed should be rolled back all the levels they gained or be banned.

2. People who obtained a MoN via trade, whether traded by someone, purchased, etc. should be banned/rolled back.

3. People who have obtained Onyx Apples by APQing with a party that abused the Stage 1 glitch should be banned/rolled back.

4. People who took advantage of 8x EXP during events before the Family System was fixed should be banned/rolled back.

And so on and so forth. I would have to say the vast majority of Maplers, whether in GMS or any other version, has taken advantage of a glitch before it was "fixed" or whatnot. Like Ghandi said, "An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind." Get pissed off by one glitch and rant for radical bannings and rollbacks, and pretty soon your not-so-clean records get pulled up too.

I'm not going to lie; I have a +52 pendant, which my friend helped me get the first day of the patch. Do I want them fixed? Absolutely not. And ironically it's an issue of fairness: peach and moan all you want, but MoN's are a godly, must-have equip for non-Magician classes. A 12 attack pendant? Damn! It's always the Magicians who get shafted with the unbalanced formulas, and for once we get something that, even though anyone can use it, is a really nice benefit for us, and yet pissed off people request their removal. Thanks, guys. Have fun with your broken pendants while we relish our 2k damage increase from 22 INT.

Honestly, if Nexon fixes it like they did Ele Wands, I don't mind. But a ban and a rollback for any and all with one of the pendants? That's overkill.

Oh please. It was obvious to anyone that this was an un-intended side effect of the hammer. Nexon have shown that have great incompetence with many aspects of game design. Why would this be any different?

Edit: @ Froz - I don't necessarily think people should be banned for this. But I do think the pendants should be rollled back to +1.

I love this server check. Good thing I refused to abuse the glitches (although I could of made my shield +12 and they wouldn't have known). Next, nexon should rollback the existing +3 pendants!

I have absolutely no sympathy for people who have +52 stats HT pendants. Have fun getting screwed over (which I'm 100% certain nexon will do). Although I agree a ban isn't necessary, but nerf to +1 is a MUST.

I'm surprised at how fast that they took notice of it and fixed the problem. It's a good thing that they fixed it, now they just need to revert all the pendants that have already been Hammered to be fair to the rest of us.

I don't believe a company has any right to terminate your account for abusing a glitch they never officially announced should not be abused. Otherwise that gives any player the assumption that it was intended. If anything, for the HT pendants, reduce them to +1 and leave it be. The people who got them to +3 probably said, hey, cool, I can get this to +3 with this hammer thingy now. They didn't say, oh good another glitch to exploit to the fullest. Edit: At worst, all I've heard is, "Okay, this can't be right," which still isn't certain knowledge.

Even if people did, there's still got to be quite a few who had no idea. Don't be a plantain to everyone because one group of people 'abused' something. Killing all of their work on the game overall is not the solution. Now, if this were a glitch that was announced as a glitch that is in the process of being fixed, and should not be abused, go for it. The player was informed and there is no reason for continued abuse, without some sort of malicious intent. I'll just go and say that if you don't read the updates it's your own damn fault.
