Ore Hunting and Farming

What about Magic Powders? I found some Purple and Yellow ones at MP3 the other day.

Anyone know a good monster to hunt amethyst from?

I just spent 2hours there and got 0 I hate my luck.

I got a hundred or so from leveling there for 10 or so levels from what I remember.

And sakura cellions give out a ton of power crystal ores too (I'm pretty sure it's power. One of the crystal ores anyway).

gobies is an excellent source of bc and steel. you get a bit of amethyst and diamond from the bonefishes, too.

Oblivion Oracles drop a ton for me.
Oops my bad, it's Blue Kentaurus. Oblivion Oracles don't drop Amethyst at all. I know I have a ton of them, but it turns out they're coming from my Blaze Wizard, not my Corsair.

Nest golems at peak drop orihalcons like crazy.

Oblivion Guardians drop Garnets like crazy, and drops a decent amount of DEX crystal ores and Time Pieces as a side bonus.

Anyone know yet what is a good dropper of Dark Crystal Ores (+2/+3/+5)? I've yet to figure out a good place for that.

DC ore has a pretty pathetic drop rate from any monster, but Drum Bunnies are a good place to start. I think they're the lowest level monster that drops them (plus the chance of a chaos scroll).

i get a fair amount from roids in c-1 or critical error. I currently have gotten around 25 from my blaze wizard

Indeed. Roids are pretty good for DCO. I've found 120-130 of them on my Dawn Warrior. I trained levels 39-86 at Roids, currently. I'll probably find some more yet too.

Well any fullscreen attack will do at drums (except shout) because they have such low hp anyways. You could get roar or driver there too.

I'm looking for a good place in time temple for power crystal ores. I know memory trainees do but i'd like to go somewhere else being i have enough smiley masks for 3 PB runs and maxed out the memory monk trainee card. Anyone know another mob there that drops them? Preferably a monk so I can get some masks as well. I wanna stay in TT because I'm primarily there for PoT. Thanks in advance xD
