It isn't about God. They're Christian, and have a few lines pertaining to their religion, however I am more concerned with the rest of the song. Don't forget God is all over the place (i.e. the constitution). That doesn't mean that it is trying to impose Christianity on you.

No, but it does mean Christianity was a huge influence on their morals.

Modern America, the internet and open mindedness has promoted Atheism. I am an Atheist, so I don't take any argument quoting God or religion seriously.

I love this comic.

Religious people (me not being one of them) can have valid arguments, even with a reference to God here and there. A gift from God can just be something special you have (i.e. a fetus that can be a baby), and Jesus' love isn't necessarily religious. It isn't like we would denounce Gandhi if people founded a religion off his teachings. Jesus was a good, loving person. Never saying he is divine, but he was a genuinely good person. I doubt many people could deny that.

At the risk of reducing DERP levels of this thread....
Religious people can have good arguments, but not when they use God or Religion. "God made us how we are, so we shouldn't 'play god' with genetic modification" is a common example.
We could go into a debate about whether or not Jesus even existed.... BUT I DESIRE DERP DAMMIT.

I agree, people perverted Jesus' teachings into saying that you're only good if you do these things. Jesus, of course, would disagree. Really though, they didn't hinder society much more than communists and dictatorships have, which tend to be atheistic.

Personally, I believe Jesus wanted all people to be loved. He isn't a son of God to me, and I don't believe in God. I just respect him as a normal, good, high-moraled person.

Dictators and communism can actually be learned from. Nothing makes you understand the importance of free prices than a society that manipulated them.
