Windowed or Full Screen?

Chameleonic Wrote:I cant use Windowed Mode, every time I try and change it Maple closes down and I get a "hacking detected" warning?! :confused:Sad

Anyone know why?

I looked around at some other forums, but I couldn't find the answer. Only possible reason I could come up with is that a program on your computer reacts on the windowed mode which maplestory then considers a hacking program.

Not running anything else whatsoever. And it was fine a couple of days ago. So I have no idea why it does that now.

Full screen all the time.

I find the framerate gets choppy on my PC when I enter windowed.

800 x 600 Maple story sitting on a 1920 x 1200 desktop is tough on my old eyes. But occasionally I'll do this to check comments on vent or check a website for something. It's good to have the option.

Now if they'd only allow resizing!

Windowed Mode is best for me since I switch a lot for HB using VMware.

You could ofcourse also change your resolution Wink

Using a non-native resolution on an LCD screen looks fugly.

I like windowed mode. My anti-virus software gives me pop-ups sometimes and my computer tabs in and out reallyyy slow. If something pops up at himes, it's auto-death. ;[ Plus it's pretty much impossible for me to do anything else in full-screen mode. Like I said, computer sucks.

Windowed Mode all the way. Its a lot easier then having to deal with lag every time I Alt+TAB.

They do not. Mine's connected via DVI and it looks pretty damn good. On topic, what I meant is that LCD displays have only one native resolution, and when using non-native ones, they stretch and look ugly.

I hate the native resolution thing

I actually want my old CRT back except it took a lot of space and it died about 4 years ago

I used to have a dual display setup with one CRT and one Widescreen LCD. The CRT died on a 2x EXP event... so I got owned. LOL.

Window Mode, always. I do Fullscreen at bosses, though.

I would use Windowed all the time, if it didn't go "HACKING ATTEMPT DETECTED!" 90% of the time I try to use it.

With my XP Media Center set up to my cable box, I use window mode while watching TV in window mode at the same time. It has turned out to be extremely useful at pirates considering all I do is hold AE and move to the left a bit.

It depends on whether or not I'm trying to multi-task. But I mostly use Full screen cause I like my games big ;o

Mainly Full Screen.
a windowed version of maple on a 1280x800 laptop is too small for me.

Though I do frequently put it in windowed mode to browse the internet or when my brother needs the laptop.
