Random internet dcs

Well, my internet started to randomly dc today. It has dced like around 10 times today. My internet usually NEVER dcs. I checked the wires and stuff and it was plugged it and not loose. Whenever I dc the broadband link goes to red and then it turns green after a while. Note that it has never happened to me before. I don't know what's wrong with it. Suggestions? Thanks.

Note:I dc every 15 minutes-1 hour so x_x.

Try restarting the router (unplug it, then plug it back in).

Also, who's your ISP?

While this might not help. I've been having the same problem, and have had to get my router replaced (my isp did it free)

I geuss if there are alot of lightning storms near by it can screw it up...

Also, check if when you have it plugged in check your dial tone on your phone, if you hear some static, (NOT near the router because it normaly with cause sounds for connecting when the phone is near it). That can be a sign of your routers fall..

However like I said, I don't know alot about them, just what I've been told. Anyones welcome to correct me if I'm mistaken

Hmm I'm not dcing anymore. Anywho, my ISP is sbc yahoo dsl.

Your ISP was more than likely doing some kind of update on their backend--upgrading servers, lines, etc. I had a similar problem for a few days, but it quickly passed. It was annoying while it lasted, though.

Yeah, starting to dc again. I think its Nexon's iTCG site. I played a game on it and in the middle I dced and my internet started going down again. I called DSL and they said to unplug the wire and plug it back in which didn't help. x_x
