BombsAway Wrote:Yeah the monsters placed elsewhere still have the same IDs and the exact same drops. They still give up their cards. Fake bosses (boss rush and stuff) are the only ones that don't.
During lagfest 2009 I managed to do something I've wanted to do for a long time.

As for Jr. Cerebes, there aren't enough in Showa to make it worth while. there's a Jr. Cerebes hidden street in the lava off Cave of Trial 2, so that's the best spot. Crappy spawn but there aren't many options.
Thnks for your info, IsaacGS. I got my Firebomb card in Showa though:
As for Jr.Cereves, guess you're right. 3 hrs there and no cards drop from them.. looks like I have to brave the cold, and then sweat it out at Jr.Cereves' boiling hot map.

I had spent hours in there before the shuffle started and got nothing.
Your post inspired me to go back.

Gratzie BombsAway! Your Firebomb card made your first dark green tab looks more complete , except for the Rombot card. Seriously, I have no idea how to get those area bosses card. Do I actually have to keep cc-ing until I hit home? Just like what I did for my Fairy and Jr.Boogie cards?

Wow nice books everyone.
A random question:
Do bosses through Gaga's Boss Rush thing drop cards too? If so, worth it to use 2x drop?
Sorry if it was answered before.
Thanks

No they don't drop cards, but if they summon monsters, those monsters will drop their cards.
Like uh, faust summons lupins and zombie lupins. If you kill them, they could potentially drop a card.
And yes, you do have to keep CCing, frozz. I always CC when Spell Booster wears off. It's my CC timer when hunting regular cards. Covering 19 channels gives you 19x the chance of getting the card you're looking for.

Don't you love it when you randomly kill a monster, and it happens to drop a monster card ?

Yes, it's one of the best feelings in MS. Especially when it's a rare card I wasn't looking forward to hunting (already scored three Deep Ludibrium monsters this way, while heading down to Pap). <3

As usual, bold numbers are new cards. Red numbers are cards that got lost due to the compensation plan.

Arrrggh, I dunno if I'm hunting it wrong or whatsoever, it's been days and hrs at clang map with no trace of any Clang cards!
Any ideas on Clang card drop tips BombsAway?

Circle the second last map 3 times and then cc. Repeat.
Can't really say much more than that. Florina beach maps are HUGE but despite that clang is fairly uncommon.

Yeah i noe what u mean. Clangs are beginning to seem like one of the most annoying crustaceans that I've ever come across. I've did that circling thing on the 2nd last map - Lorang and Clang, and I got 3 Lorang cards. And seeing that u've got 4 Clang cards, I assumed you've got a different technique. Well, I will try out the circling thing again tmro
But, did you focus solely on Clangs when u circle the map, and skip the Lorangs? Or you electrify them both?

Haha, I remembered weeks ago I spent frustrated days and hrs at Aqua Road just to get cards from Poopa and Jr.Seal. Poopa was the first monster which made me realised that monsters which basically floats around the map, or flying monsters, are less prone to drop cards. I thought it was just a case of bad luck, but somehow, I went to hunt cards at Stirges, Flyeyes, Maladys (darn witches), Planeys, Hellys, and all those flying critters outside Eos Tower with the same experience.
