I'm not exactly sure what's going on with my maple, I'm fairly sure it's somehow related to the internet here, but I'm not sure how exactly to go about solving things. To the problem:
I'll have DC'ing epidemics during the day, seemingly never late at night, or early morning. I'll be going along shoving throwing stars into the faces of innocent woodland creatures, and then I'll get lag that doesn't actually stop.
Like when you lag out for a couple seconds, with monsters and people frozen in place, then you come back into real-time with the monsters/people running across the screen at mach five to where their new positions are. Except they aren't running to their new positions for me; Forever locked in whatever pose they stopped in. This doesn't happen once, and then stop, but repeat itself again and again for a while, then after I go do something, come back, and start playing again, sometimes it will work just fine, and other times it will continue to freeze my friends in invisible ice.
I downloaded 'NetBalancer', some program that sets internet priorities and monitors network traffic in the same way that the Task Manager does, the result giving me a graph that tells me nothing I didn't already know. There's no common pattern, all that happens is Maple seemingly decides that downloading & uploading data is too much work and stops actually doing either.
I'm using the same laptop, Wireless Router, and install of maple story that I used at my previous house, where things worked seamlessly. Wiring my laptop directly into the Wireless Router or internet box thing itself doesn't help any.
