Automated AhnReport

Hello Maplers,

Please note that HackShield, the MapleStory cheat detection program, will automatically collect data through a program called AhnReport upon any HackShield errors. For your convenience, you will no longer have to download AhnReport once a HackShield error occurs.

When there is a HackShield error, the following screen will pop-up:

Within AhnReport, please describe the problem, include your email address, and click "Run AhnReport". This will send the problem directly to the HackShield team for investigation

Did no one see this or was it just not important enough to post here? f3 Guess I have my first thread here. :p

Pretty nice they added this, now you can just report the problem right away without having to do anything special. Still wonder how long it takes for them to actually fix the problems though.


Edit: We also know why they never fixed Vista errors now, they use XP themselves. :O But that was expected because of that robot NPC in NLC.

I have never had a HackShield error, and I check the MapleGlobal page about once a year, so there was absolutely no way I could have known about it. Unless something completely pineapples up on my computer, I don't think this will ever affect me. Yes.

Never had one either...let's all hope HS's customer service is better than Nexon's.

Can it even be any worse than Nexon's? I think it'll always be better.

I wonder what kind of information would actually help them where it says describe the problem?

Do they want a list of programs we had running? Do they want that random 10 digit number (hack sheild error 275843541)? Do they want a description of what we were doing in maple story?

In my opinion, when it comes to fixing an error, there's never too much information.

Got one of these today after i tried logging in ms on 2 different users. I think I may have to re-download ._.
