I think I'm actually going to have to agree with you on the speed part. ACB is kinda slow, even with my ST + Booster. I can get in roughly 2 Power Strikes (with or without FA) in the time it takes to use ACB again.

I'm still unsure as to which has better mob damage, considering ACB on weakness is pretty damn godly. The fact that you only hit the very top of your damage range does make your attacks very powerful. The lowest I've ever seen with ACB at my level is 20k and the highest is 33-34k.

I guess I just suck at using ACB, or maybe my FA activates too much. Cause ACB is slow as hell for me. o.o

I'm gonna go test it out quick. I'm not on the up and up with all the speeds and stuff. I just know Faster = Better.
Ok, I guess I'm just too used to my FA. They do seem to be the same speed, as I can get off around 8 in 5 seconds.
God, I think I'm definitely getting FA on my DW, cause I could not live without it.

As for the element and Rush thing, the elements still apply, so it could be possible when Rush is higher lvl. I hit 2-3k with lvl 1 Rush clean, and 3-4k with Rush + Holy. I also hit 4-6.5k on Holy weak by doing that.

ACB is without a doubt the same speed as power strike without FA.

Blast is incredibly slow, though.

Plus I'm a BW pally, so my range is all over the place. I think my min on holy weak is around 15k while my max is almost if not over 50k, with acb.

EDIT : As for rush. BW pally, rush always stabs, and I can still hit ~7k-9k (not sure) with it on holy weak enemies, so yes, it makes a huge difference. Level 1 rush.

You were thinking about shout. Zenkat determined that it was 100% stab I believe a long time ago.

Rush is definitely not 100% stab, I was able to do great damage with it with BW. Not sure about the % tho.

And blast is not that slow. It's only 0.03 sec slower than PS with same speed weapon. The fact that it hits only one time and it a charge up like feel makes it "look" slow.

That and the fact that minor differences in speed feel massive. Booster's only a maximum of 0.09 second difference on any attack, yet one can't even stand attacking for long without it.
