Time Temple Cards not dropping?

[color="#cc8899"]Just curious if anyone has gotten a Time Temple card since the last server check. I've spent at least 20 (4 on 2x drop) hours at Chief Guardians of Oblivion (Oblivion 4) without a hint of a card.

My reason for questioning this is that it would be a perfectly logical short-term fix on Nexon's part to prevent the need for further givebacks for screwed up monsterbooks.[/COLOR]

Nihilae (Joe .2 on the forums) was asking me about Ellin cards the other day saying he hadn't seen a single one in countless hours either. So it seems like they did remove them for now.

This would explain why I haven't been seeing any more cards there. Though cards tend to be pretty rare anyways so it would be hard to tell.

You have to admit it is a pretty nice fix for future glitched books. The glitch with existing books will be fixed with a patch, and the cards will drop after as well. It isn't that bad really.

im glad for this because it keeps my unmutilated book safe while allowing me to put pet item loots on when i do my 999 quests.

It is a nice fix but nexon is full of fucking boneheads who don't communicate with the players. If they remove something, even if it's only temporary, it's 100% their responsibility to tell us so we don't waste our time or money (if you purchase 2x drop cards) trying to find it.

Yeah, i agree it would have been nice for them to tell us this instead of us having to figure it out.

You would think they would have learned their lesson after taking that exp hair out and not telling anyone, even after everyone started b'itching.

This is a load of BS. I knew something was wrong. I've spent so many hours trying to get the Regret Captain and Dodo cards this past week.

Gosh dangit, Nexon. Screw you... Now watch them rollback my almost complete collection of TT cards anyway. I'll REALLY be happy then.

Vindeed. And I've completed a nice stockpile of Pieces of Time while in the Time Temple too, having sworn that cards stopped dropping (about 1 card out of 4-7 pieces, maybe?).

If only they did this earlier, like within the first week. They could have stopped quite a bit of the madness. Why choose to do it the last week or two leading up to their supposed fix? People's books are already screwed up, I don't see how much stopping the cards from dropping at a time like this would really matter that much.

The only thing that these events make me think is that they do have the power to fix the problem. I really think the monster book roll back is imminent now, and I'm ready for it to happen. I embrace its arrival.

No sense in bothering with cards after the patch anyways, don't they add-in Cynical Mushroom in the Cygnus Knights patch? If they do, then we'll probably have a messed up book all over again. I really do think they'll just repeat the same mistake over and over again and never learn.

they may have the power to fix the problem but it probably requires a patch where they didnt realize the clients are somehow screwy until the server check didnt fix anything. if they have any kind of decent programmers, this wont happen again because they already know the symptoms and the fix.

not that theyre programmers are completely competant, i dont have much faith when we go through 5+ versions of bigfoot before they finally got it workable. (or all the missing hitboxes in showa and cwk. or the boomer pomegranate. or the nlc quests that led back to ludi. or the class specific quest rewards for pirates. or putting in zombify and reverse when the animations didnt exist.... etc)

Yeah, they fixed monster book during the patch, so they dropped again after the patch.
