I view 40, mainly because I dont like clicking to the next page(s). A friend of mine however doesnt like scrolling, so it seems personal preference for the most part.

I wasn't aware you could change it...

But I've always hated clicking next page. So 40 now. E:

Wow. I usually have it on 10, but I guess the default was 20 here. Always thought the pages were a bit long.

Edit: I don't see the point in increasing it, really. I rarely need to view more than 20 posts per thread. Keeping it spaced it helps me keep better track of where certain posts are in large threads and reduces the amount of scrolling I have to do.

Dusk's post (^) is 31, so I guess 40 is the number.

i always used to have a problem of thinking the last post on the first page was the last post- and then replying to it. When really i would be commenting on something that was already answered in about 4 other posts lol
not so much anymore since i switched to 40 ^^
