4x drop

Does it work at all much like how 2x exp works? This is because you don't seem to get 4x meso, so this in turn makes me doubt the validity of this effect, or possibility rather.

Only 2x cards give 2x meso quantity, other 2x types give 2x droprate.

So from 50% to 100%, then... to 100%. Drop cards are really 4x mesos in the first place because they increase both quantity and droprate.

Not this past anniversary but the previous year, I used a 2x drop card during a 2x drop event on pap. It was 4x for sure because I got around 5 equips per kill. I also killed the giant cakes and got plenty of maple equips. However, I think this is why there are no more 2x drop events Goggleemoticon.

I normally get 1~2 pieces of time in an hour; on 4x drop I get like 4~6. It's definitely an improvement.

Wow, really? 2x drop increases drop rate more than 2x?

Ffffffffffffffff now I need to get a 2x drop card for Time Temple training as well while I can still take advantage of 10m Time Pieces.

It directly Increases the % to drop.
So its like a 30% drop going to a 60%.
Imagine flipping a coin 10 times and getting all heads- It seems unlikely in a row.
But Individually they are all 50/50.
Which is why I scroll with 70%s ALOT.
It passes- Glitter

The problem is that because an item cannot be dropped twice from the same monster at some point 2x drop starts being less effective, especially on common drops like mesos and etc items (not talking about doubling the meso amount)

4x drop is very visibly effective on maps like Bubblings though if you can move through it at high speed killing things.

You can see a marked difference between the drops that accumulate at 1x, 2x and 4x speeds.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

Good to know.. I've always wondered if it worked.

Well, yeah. 2x events are double of probability: 60% turns into 120%.

But I still remember that 2x CARDS were not working like this: It's more like, if the item doesn't drop, then try again, but max once. As if you were killing two monsters instead of one, but only had the probability to drop the item once.

I've gotten 5 equips on regular 1x drop, and 0 equips on 2x drop :f6:
