Thunder Breaker Guide

That's what I did, except I got 11 blast right after charge. You don't need the attack from charge since you'll be using war pot anyways. Get blast to 11 ASAP so you actually will have something to use while charged.

Others are fine except a lot people prefer CSB early(not me tho), so you may want to look further into the difference between lv1 and maxed CSB before you decide you max it early or latter.

That build is kind of all rightish. But really, you need more than 3 Charge before you start off on blast. I didn't find it starting to get a decent charge time til it was at least level 8. I stopped my Charge at 10, and I'm maxing Blast now.

CSB is more useful than you think. It really does help with map mobility. If you did decide to do that build, at least max CSB before lightning charge. You'll be using it a lot more than you think.

I guess it's just my style, I love my lv1 CSB and I do use it alot. And I just leveled to 70 without ever thinking max it to push all my mobs far away from me. CSB and then SSK or blast without walking is the win for me.

Also getting to 3 charge is pointless. IF you are not even gonna use blast, what is the use of quick charging? So I got my blast to 11 first and then started rising charge.

Well, after a day of CPQing, I'm level 48 and I followed the Blast/Charge before CSB build I posted (well, I actually got charge and blast before maxing Mastery) and I think it should be listed as an option. Energy charges extremely quick at CPQ, Truckers, and MP3. Plus, I occasionally OHKO Truckers with level 11 Blast and the Pink Tube knuckle. The rest of my equips are all clean.

Edit: I'll probably be doing CSB after finishing off Mastery since I kill Truckers fast enough without Lightning Charge and not all of the monsters in MP3 are Lightning weak anyways.

You have to pay 10M all at once for level 50 Mount.

Have you tried putting Dash in before Flash Fist? In 1st Job you will be training exclusively with Sommersault Kick which can be used with any equippable weapon at that level. Flash Fist requires a knuckle, all of which suck before the pink tube.

I'll be giving the guide a little update to tweak some things later this week. Just busy with a lot of stuff since school is about to start again.

I really didn't follow the guide to a tee, but I have a question. At the moment I have 6 Booster, 19 Mastery, 11 Energy Blast, and I have 13 Energy Charge. I plan on maxing Energy Charge, but what do I do after that? CKSB or Lightning Charge? I know it states to continue toward maxing Blast, But I really dont think it's necessary, Would that be my best bet though?

It's not necessary, do what you want.

I'm not sure what I want, That's why I'm asking which would benefit me most?

If you 4hko windraider with 11 blast, you would most likely 3hko them with maxed blast.

Edit:

Also I'd like to point out something about the 3rd job build.

Sharkwave should be maxed before seriously adding anything else. 1 point in spark/critical/transform/shockwave wouldn't hurt, but stopping sharkwave at 21 isn't the best idea. From 21 to 30 it's a 45% damage increase, and takes 9pts. While on average, it's only a 40% increase with maxed critical, and that's 20pts.

Spark aren't that great either, it's not as simple as your damage*120%, sometimes I hit 1 with it. Generally, the damage is very unstable, and not that much noticeable. Not to mention it makes you use extra mp everytime you attack.

So to maximize killing speed, max sharkwave > max critical > max spark would be the best route to go.

Actually spark is seriously the greatest skill in my opinion. Starting at about level 6 Sparks, I actually started to notice a huge difference in my mobs of blue Kents. Right now, with sparks at level 14, I can 3 hit a mob of kents with shark wave (Level 21) on average. Sparks does wonders; you may not see the damage, but it does amazing stuff.

While sharks is a 45% damage increase for 21-30, Critical Punch is extremely crucial. Each level you get a +5% damage increase on crits for every move. I preferred doing the 21 sharks > Max Crit > Max Sparks > Max Sharks.

I can confirm that 11+ sparks is serious stuff at blue kents.

Something wrong with my spark? It doesn't even kill off lord pirate's summons that quick, and I was using FF which is twice as fast as shark.

9pt for 45% damage is simply better than 20pts for 40% damage. How many times do you use other attacks in kent anyways, aside from some CSB for movement.

Ey how come you max energy blast? I'm a little confused about that.

Blast is still a useful skill in 2nd job. It helps annihilate mobs fast and quick. It's better to leave booster at 11 so you can max it later in 3rd job. I'd rather cast booster every 110 seconds and have a strong attack then be lazy and cast booster every 200 seconds and have a weaker attack. But then again, it's all on preference.

I've liked having max blast; it helps me kill at himes fast when it's stacked on top of Sparks.

I went there at level 78 just to see what I could do and ended up missing them sometimes. What's your dex?

Actually, now that I think about it, it could have been my level 1 sparks that was missing and not Sharkwave...
