THIS is why everyone is getting banned.

Greetings,

Thank you for contacting Nexon America's Customer Support team.

Your ban appeal has been denied.

We periodically investigate meso activity on all servers. Unfortunately, your account was found to have been involved in the acceptance or distribution of illegally obtained mesos. This could be due to trading with a player who illegally obtained mesos and/or purchasing mesos from a "gold farming" or meso selling website. These website conduct activities that are illegal and completely against our Terms of Use. We strongly suggest that you refrain from being involved in any of the above activities.

Sincerely,

GM Libra
Nexon America, Inc.

Just because I had 1.6b you banned me? I have NEVER bought from mesos sites, I have NEVER accepted mesos from hackers...............................

Begin ranting at/flaming/bashing Nexon.

I know EXACTLY why this happened. 2 weeks ago when the meso generator was around, the meso farmers used it and sold mesos so ridiculously cheap that thousands bought mesos. Those mesos are now in the market and Nexon only decided to track the mesos down now. Therefore anyone with said generated mesos today (people who bought mesos bought your items, therefore you have "generated" mesos) gets banned.

Let's ban all the rich people THEN put the biggest meso-sink ever in the game.

./Sarcasm.

For all you know you probably "accepted" illegal mesos from someone else who bought illegal mesos. I dunno, Nexon could have done really stupid things. Like not considering all situations, for example.

Nexon is sad you're not buying their mesos. =[ Well maybe they should make them cheaper. Assholes.

That's impossibly to trace. Unless they actually got accounts and characters and can go look at the transactions, then yes. Otherwise this is pretty stupid.

Once again, Guilty until proven innocent.

Well according to Nexon, if you have alot of mesos, you're a hacker.

You should demand that they show you evidence of your misdoings, and if they are unable to provide such evidence, to revoke their claim. You should get a good laugh like I did.

Let's hope Fiel doesn't get banned.

Not the first (and I dont think will be the last) time they made such a bold assumption. Nexon did the same thing during the bigfoot screw up and they seemingly banned anyone gaining over a certain theshold of experience in that time period, during which my "ice mage" friend got banned for leveling like crazy from partying at skelies. Yes I know they can freeze bigfoot back then but do note that they need to hack and slash the full HP of BF for the experience while F/P mages/hermits running around ksing them BF like no tomorrow.

My guess is that they're making just as big a bold assumption with this inflation issue.

I guess B > nx for mesos 1:X is a bannable offense. But like, that doesn't even make sense because some of the people that got banned aren't even rich, nor have they ever bought/traded nx for mesos or vice versa... lol @ nexon for lying.

Pardon me for double post but I logged a ticket on behalf of all of us that were banned.

In response to GM Libra's denial to lift my ban, I know exactly why I and thousands of other maplers were banned. I assume this would be enough proof to from that 95% of us are INNOCENT.

I know EXACTLY why this happened. 2 weeks ago when the meso generator hack was around, the meso farmers used it and sold mesos so ridiculously cheap (around $4/100m) that thousands bought mesos. Those mesos are now in the market and you, Nexon only decided to track the mesos down this week. Therefore anyone with said generated mesos today (people who bought mesos bought your items, therefore you have "generated" mesos) gets banned.
Although we unknowingly knew they were generated mesos, we didn't know better since we have no way to check. You at Nexon tracked down the generated mesos, which has been spread out to thousands of maplers by now...

Us maplers do know that you meant good in banning those who purchased said "generated" mesos but tracking them this week was too late, those who bought the mesos have probably already spent 99% of it...

I figured out what I did to get banned guys!
1) Put up a 14-day shop with items in it.
2) Someone comes along and buys items over a period of 2 weeks.
3) I have max mesos and more in the bank.
4) Nexon says "Omgawd guyz he r duping mesarz!!! letz banhammer him yo!"
5) I get a 9 day ban.

During the 9 day ban:
6) They remove all of my mesos and probably go sell them to meso sites or something to make $ for themselves.
7) They unban my account.
8) I go on to find out I have nothing left.
9) I can no longer merchant because Nexon will think I have illegit mesos.
10) I quit.

And there you have it. The Legacy of RajPwN.
*Bows down in front of crowd*
Mad

Lies! You only have junk! Nothing worth 300 mil! Poor And0r! Heart

On topic. The whole thing seems kinda odd, but if they can track "generated" mesos, maybe in a large transaction, where they buy from your store or in trade, mark you for the banhammer?

If they can track mesos, then I do not understand why they didn't ban the original meso sellers and leave it at that. You cannot blame people for having "illegit" mesos if they did not know it was "illegit" in the first place. It seems that they banned everyone else though.

Shame.

This.

And, this is NEXON we are talking about. If they think something is right, it means they definitely screwed up.

What the pineapple? I got the same reply as well yeah.

It is absolutely impossible to not have any meso from some stupid farmer if you have a store. EVERYONE with a store has it, and I'm 100% sure about that. Someone who bought the meso from the farmer might buy an item in your store, and there you go!

Seriously, this is the most ridiculous reason Nexon has ever banned for. And because of this ticket's reply, I don't understand why only 1300 characters were banned. At least 60-70% of the players has meso that came from a farmer at some point, be it 100k meso or 300m meso. >_>
