Ore Hunting and Farming

Wasn't B3 changed in a previous patch so you can only do it once per day?

Last I visited, you couldn't do it at all. The exit NPC won't talk to people who don't have the quest in progress. I had to log out to escape.

I don't think you have to make a new char for this...

After you do John's 2nd JQ, you can't redo the 1st anymore. It depends what ores you are looking for. 1st JQ is minerals (except gold). 2nd JQ is jewels (except diamond and bc).

Also, KPQ gives out ores as prizes frequently, if you have a character that is able to go in.

I love skele ore drops in the mini dungeon. With the event 2x card, I can make about 5m per hour in ore drops. Good ores = DC which are 250k & Wisdom, also 250k each.

I trained at Straw Dummies for 10 levels and got 300 Sapphire Ores. I'm not sure whether that's so good. Oh yeah, and I got like 100-200 Dex Crystal Ores, too.

I'm pretty sure it depends on the level when completed on the Ore/Mineral prize. I think Diamond/Gold/BC are 45+.

Also, I remember getting quite a few Lidium's from Scorpion's when I trained there on my Brawler.

At Level 61 to 76, I was training at Mysterious Path 3. I got loads of Diamond ores and Orihalcon ores from Selkies.

Also Lab Unit 201, The one with Homuns and Sites is pretty good for diamond/mythril/bronze.

Malady gave me tons of gold ores, dark crystal ores and black crystal ores. Drop rates for ores at maladies are fantastic in my opinion.

Skeleton Soldiers drop tons of opals.

And I got tons of DEX crystal ores from Block Golems

Make a new char and keep doing John's 1st JQ in Sleepywood for random mineral ores. You can get about 2 every 2 mins (60 per hr) if you've mastered it.

Same thing with Shumi's B3 JQ for gold/diamond/bc ores.

They made those all 1 visit per day to stop the ore rushers.

Harps drop a LOT of ores.

Red Wyverns have a decent drop of power crystals. I got a few hundred ores in 20 levels.

Royal Cactus have a great drop rate for Lidiums~

Iron Hogs don't drop too many ores, but you can forge 100 of their hooves into 1 steel plate. At Burnt Land 3 I clocked 100 hooves in 1 speed pill, so 6 plates/hour.

While hunting Homunculus for both White Powders and the stuff for Maker level 2 I got a fair amount of Topaz.

Straw Target Dummies are the best place for Dex Crystal Ores in my opinion.

I just spent 2hours there and got 0 I hate my luck.

Garnet drops like balls on puberty-stricken boys at Chief Guardians of Oblivion.

STDs: Sapphires and DEX Crystals.
Roids: Sapphires and Dark Crystals
Windraiders: DEX Crystals
Drum Bunnys: Dark Crystals and something else

What about Magic Powders? I found some Purple and Yellow ones at MP3 the other day.

Where can I farm Blue ones?
