Aside from the fact it's awesome, yeah, you kinda do. There have been snippets of flashbacks and mentions of characters from season 1.

The first thing that I did during the OP was pick out sections of the song that were eerily reminiscent of the Kannagi OP. Six months ago, I would've had a hard time matching show with OP in most cases, and here I am lining up single lines of a song I'm hearing for the first time...

So I saw AIKa: Zero 01 yesterday, and it was better than I expected.

A very, very blatantly LOLFANSERVICE show that's worse than Strike Witches, but at least has good-looking characters, never mind the lack of a real story.

Sora no Manimani 3: Fantastic. I wish they were as good with the characters as they were with depicting the wonder of the stars, though.

Saki 17: I kind of feel bad for Kazekoshi. Nice to see Saki back to herself and Koromo finally shaken up a bit.

Kara no Kyoukai 06: Delicious Azaka on a 46", oh my God. moemoe. I'm burning up. Faeries are evil. Dogs are stupid. Drugs are bad. pineappleing awesome axe kick. Fantasy wincest. Oh and people are food. I loved the animation on her flames and I can't get enough of her embarrassed voice.
