[MSEA] Symbols in IGNs'?

I logged in today (after like 2 weeks) and I saw that some characters had symbols in their IGNs. By symbols I mean !@#$%&, if you get what I mean. Anyway, I asked my guild alliance on this, and they all replied that symbols can now be used in IGNs. Can someone confirm this is true?

EDIT: Also, not only those symbols can be used. I saw fractions, and I do mean fractions. I'll take a screenshot when I get the chance.

Yes, symbols can be used in your IGN.
You can insert symbols using 'ALT+number' method.
AFAIK, you can do it only with KoC characters.

Why not try it out yourself? Ie. try to create a character with symbols as their IGN.

I don't really see a point of having symbols anyway, unless they're running out of IGNs, which I find highly unlikely.

It's because it would be so difficult to /find people, and anything else that would require typing in their names.

Gotta love greek letters, like Tau:

Τssk << Tau combined with ssk. No difference in looks usually, thus it's "impossible" to find the char.

And that's one of tons of characters you can implement. That is, if you use capital letters.
