MapleSEA VERSION 0.78 PATCH NOTES

Hate you people. You guys expect too much, but you don't pay attention. Look in the cash shop update, and you will know that you need to buy the keys to open the boxes.
After patch out, you all will rant about asiasoft being money faced and everything, but in the end, its you guys who expect too much.

I can safely say that most of the MSEA players here aren't the huge ranters anyway.

GMSers sure can rant though. They'll get their chance, too. No doubt this event is coming back soon, Timeless Weapons and all.

The only thing I'm ranting about is that two of the best Maple events last for barely a month, and it's my exam period. Bummer.

I do hope the Independance Day eyewear is permanent, though, even if it does give crappy stats. But knowing Asiasoft...

I've said it before, but I think the reason every version gets the original creation system first is to encourage the creation of Cygnus characters more. People think they actually need a Cygnus for a damage boost -> more people train them -> more people buy NX for their Cygnus. Then after a bit they patch it over to the new system.

I don't know what you guys are complaining about, though. The only thing that looks kind of interesting here is the Balrog boss and the Goldrich and broken box events. We've already had the Agent event, the independence day event can't be anything good, CPQ2 is nowhere near as good as CPQ1. Seems like filler patch mostly.

Does that mean dropping a 50k bag on the floor will be reduced by taxes? Or is it mesos dropped by monsters? Or something I didn't get?

...Because they didn't improve our characters. The face masks (and probably this eyewear as well) is gonna give some stats, so I doubt it'll be permanent.

Can you guys tell us what the stats on the CPQ2 rings are? And why did they say lv59-69. Isn't it lv51-70?

Actually I am not as optimistic as you guys are after realising that we have nothing more left for release after this Patch. As others have stated, MSEA has crammed almost 4 months worth of KMS content into ONE patch, and I am anticipating a content drought in the months to come.

Unless, of course, AS has some tricks down their sleeves... I don't see how they are going to keep the greedy MSEA players satisfied in the following months.

As a GMS player, I can't complain seeing as how we're getting Maker, Cygnus, and Vicious Hammer in our next patch.

Well, let's summarize the patch:
1) Balrog Boss-Do want.
2) CPQ2-LOLCRAP
3) Box event thing-...I don't know what to even say. A broken version of a broken event.
4) Agent event-Very good.
5) Independance Day event-Good, but the glasses will probably expire
6) Goldrich event-Probably the nerfed version of the event

So-so patch, nothing that makes me envy SEA, all both of us will get from now on is the events KMS made while developing cygnus. Like, 4-5 patches worth of it. (And for GMS, CPQ2, balrog, and dojo)

Let's see. MSEA, according to Strategywiki, has only these left:
- Haunted House / CWK
- Kaede Castle, Neo Tokyo, most of China, all of Formosa, Golden Temple
- Premium Road expansions
- Completed Amoria (They only have the bottom floor and the Purplewood Forest) and APQ
- Aran and Rien (really?)
- LMPQ (o.O)
- some UI updates
- some minigames (Rock Paper Scissors, etc.)
- a bunch of game system stuff (the MTS, most notably)
- a Drake mini dungeon and a Pirate (Kru/Captain) mini dungeon (which only kms and ems have)
- Event things that don't even happen in the summer

I suppose they could throw out all the World Tour in one patch, and Masteria in another, but I don't see how Asiasoft can keep going at this rate. (Perhaps by waiting 3 months for the next patch...)

I dunno. I'd really hope not, though. I'd imagine the tax is only applied to player dropped bags.

Off topic: OH since FULL malaysia is possible in one patch.
You wouldn't be suprised if MSEA get FULL CWK or GMS get FULL formosa+taipei101 anyway.
