How do you grind?
#61
Cardboardsnail Wrote:-Load up on pots
-Go to training spot
-Killing trance for 1-2 hours (Don't look at xp, damage, or w/e. Just kill.)
-Exit maple

Rinse and repeat whenever I feel like it

I pretty much do this when i actually do grind. Sometimes, i throw in music, but other than that, yeah.

its extremely easy when you're a bishop at newties.

I don't. Watching the exp bar go up so slowly is demoralizing.

Make -sparkleeyes- at the computer while writing down my highest damage counts and randomly doing stuff like staring at the background, singing, petting the computer screen, crooning at my mouse, alternate between chews and warrior pots, maybe take a break and APQ a bit, die to break up the monotony, etc. Tongue

And then go through the monotony of gaining that 10% all over again. xD

I sit in front of the computer and press buttons for 6 hours. Simple enough.

I need to cover my exp bar, it makes things go by faster. Also those Non-Stop Mega Mix's come in handy ;-;

Window mode, have a movie or anything I want to watch on the bottom left side while I drag the Maple Story window to the top right, cover my EXP bar, and just train.

1) Update myself in forums.
2) Go on maple to discuss the updates.
3) Get pots, if I don't have enough already.
4) Alt-tab to turn on 1.FM, channel X.
5) Walk all the way to Wyverns on my hog.
6) Set a goal for today.
7) Train for 2-5 hours, watching my exp go up piece by piece.
8) During training, I daydream/plan my next goal/talk.

Repeat when suitable.

First, I put on some socks. Then I put on some shows and go outside. I grab my skateboard and proceed to ride around on it till I warm up. Then, I find a suitable place, somewhere that I can ride up to or ollie up on, and I try it out a couple of times. Then I proceed to try and grind it. Mostly it works. Then I go home, switch out for a flowboard and continue skating.
