The absence of the seagulls is one of the very first things that foreshadows the terror that is going to befall them. I am refering to the anime. Possibly because the start of Umineko's about as long at uh, first arc in Higurashi, and thus know nothing about the story, really. In Higurashi, you were knowing Maebara were killing Ryuugu, Sonozaki and himself this far. I considered that as a rather insane story when I was that far. Umineko would possibly be like that for me if it weren't for Higurashi, because I knew it was going to be like that.

I'm sad to say that I've not gone through Higurashi's nor Umineko's VN, but I'm actually atcm reading Umineko if that satisfies you

Fight Ippatsu! Juuden-Chan!! 01: Looks like there's no censor to begin with, except for that one scene in the bath with that damndable censorfog. Once again, thwarting my loli-bewb-viewing pleasure. ED is full of uncensored nipples. Hell, there were two islands with a bridge that were shaped and coloured as breasts, and you could see the colour through the see-through part of Aresta's uniform.

Phantom 16-17: The Inferno conflict is more boring than I expected. No clue what's up with Shiga.
