Crazy combos with an 'unlimited' Aurora Sword/Slash. Something that couldn't be done in the English version of 'Tales of Eternia', period. Some of the crap that's in here, I've never even tried. Frick yeah, Farah+Reid combos! :f6:

Just cause he's probably Asian playing the Japanese version of the game, mirite? But damn, that's some serious thinking power if he got the entire game down to pure math and physics, knowing when to use certain skills and when to spell-cancel.

I loved that video ... especially that physical fighter chick. She's awesome.
I'd like to nominate this person as well. Here's a few videos :3
Special emphasis on the fact that none of these videos repeat any of the skills.

While Tales is awesome, you should probably realize that those combos take very little skill outside of figuring out how to set an infinite up. Most combos require nothing but memorizing the order to press the buttons in.
And honestly, they're quite boring after the first 10 seconds.

I agree, not to belittle the awesomeness of seeing infinite combos in Tales, but it's not exactly impossible to do it as you probably think it is. Probably just a very bored person with lots of time on her hands to ponder such combos.

Obviously, all 3 of you haven't played Tales of Symphonia or some of the more older games. It is very very very (and I can't stress enough..) very unlikely to do a chain of combos and repeat. There are 3 tier level skills, lv1, lv2, lv3. You can chain them up in that very order, after a lv 3 tech has been used, you cannot go back to any other skills. It's basically a finisher. Only in some instances can you combo.
In ToS, there is a way to achieve max combos , and that's by using a Hourglass combined with O. Tempest, along with other skills:

Maybe in Abyss, or Vesperia, or ToS2 (lol ToS2), it is definitely easier. Hell, in ToS2, you can repeatedly flinch-combo, that's easy. In the older games, uh... 'no'.
@Shouri: The fighter chick was Farah Oersted. My favorite female character in the entire Tales series, to be honest. Next in line would be Judith.

Tales of Symphonia? Are you pineappleing kidding me? That game has the easiest infinite combos possible. It's pineappleing retarded in fact.
And I'm pretty sure I've seen videos of 1k+ Combos in Symphonia.

I always felt ToS2 was easier. =X You can repeatedly hit Lloyd during the 1st encounter, stun and pummel him to death without using Hourglasses or any cheap trick, actually.
@Joe: If you double-click that video, there should be a link or something on there, he did a 2xx,xxx hits-combo video or something, using Hourglass+O. Tempest+Light Spear Cannon+Photon. @_@ Most combos I did in ToS without the use of Hourglasses was about a good 1.5k til I got too tired.

I realize how the gameplay works, and I still agree with Dusk. It's little more than memory and timing, though those could be considered skills in themselves.

It is memory and timing, it's not SSBM here. =( At least you understood. xD

Also this, which basically sums up all those other combo's. There's a few exceptions though. Vesperia's Judith and Tales of Destiny Remake's Lion being 2 of them.
When you obtain Judith you can't just go combo with her like crazy, even if you have all her skills, because she actually takes some skill to learn. I've seen alot of Judith combo's and even after 3 playthroughs of Vesperia, I've only managed to pull off one of them.
