Is there a part in the GPQ where it gives a approximate date for the destruction of Sharenia?

You can't compare it to anything anyways, as I'm not even sure the current Maplestory takes place in 2009.

If anyone could do all the Aran quests and translate the Korean so Isaac can make it into a story, that would be great.

Whan the heck does MapleStory take place? There are clocks with minute hands (Grandpa Clock), so past 1475, and there are guns (un-nerfed Showa monsters), so after 1900s, there are lots of other things that might dictate the time, but no excact dates. Also, apparently, it takes place on a different world.

Relating Maple's time to our time isn't wise. Just because there weren't guns around until the 1800/1900's doesn't mean it would be the same for Maple world.

When there are giant stone statues, plants in clocks, giant fish, dragons, and Pink Beans that can destroy the world, then you have reached Maple Time. (Not yet apparently.)

This should dispel anyone who says Helena =/= Athena Pierce. (The Orgel was the gift Kyrin gave Athena when she was very young. It's part of the Crumpled Letter questline.)

I remember those quests. They were uber-easy.

Each section of the game has its own story arcs, but the Nautilis and Black magician parts are 21-23, you must have missed it.

He is part of the over-arching story though.

Haha i remember those quests from Vic... When i was a kid i was so interested in the storylines and quests. But that was the age of 12 or 13 haha i mean since beta and new scania... It was really interesting. Thank you issac Newton For your stories!!! But now in maple its all about grinding and killing and being a damage whore. P.s: im turning 18 now wow long time haha

Maple just recently had its 4th anniversary, so 12 to 18 is not really possible. I also like how you imply that the story is for kids, and ergo that the e-thugning is for the mature. I would have guessed it to be vice versa myself....

13-18 is possible, beta was 1 year.

At the time this was initially written there wasn't really enough known on El Nath to write anything. Even now there's very little, it basically boils down to "There was a mining town at the top of the mountain but Zakum broke it"

I read somebody's post on the recent thread on Taiwan beating Pink Bean legitimately, and according to it, Kirsten tried to resurrect the Black Magician, and wound up with Pink Bean. Now it's just left me REALLY curious about that.
Can you shed light behind this storyline, and are you going to write it eventually? And like you said in the beginning, you barely scratch the surface of Magatia. Do you plan on finishing it, or wanting us to see it for ourselves like with Crimsonwood Keep?

Basically, Kirstun went into time temple to steal the goddess's mirror to resurrect the black mage and put up a barrier around the deep part of time temple so nobody else could get in. Maplestory player collects masks and boss etc. pieces to create a chaos orb and uses it to break the barrier, then catches Kirstun in the act. Something goes wrong as he tries to steal the mirror causing this pink thing to randomly show up and start summoning forgotten gods, so Kirstun flees, and maplestory player is stuck in the room with the pink thing and statues. That's about it I think.

This has always been a pet peeve of mine, people who play MapleStory without actually playing anything other than "Let's fill up the exp gauge and see if we level. OMG we did this time too!"
I'll be the first to admit that some parts of the story are borderline pooptastic and dumb, but Magatia, Masteria and to some extent Leafre got some really good plots.
It's unforgivable for people to spend such a fantastically huge amount of time, even years, and still give out the good old F6 as soon as this topic gets touched.

Is World Tour eventually going to be included? I'd assume it'd be something like:

Japan: Showa gang cause problems, Adventurer smacks down Grandpa, ???, Profit, then he goes into the future and fights robots for some reason and then goes into the past and fights a frog

Singapore and Malaysia: Adventurer exterminates Krexel, Capt. Latanica and then goes off to clean up an amusement park or something

Taiwan: Weird Shadow Angel is doing crap in the mall, he needs to die, also, shoop da woop fish interfere

et cetera, et cetera.
