No fun just stupidity of people, which want to be cool and dont have control on thier body.

In my opinion it so irresponsible, and no i am not abstainer.

When I'm drunk: People act differently around me (in a good way); I talk to people I've never spoken to if I was sober, and find out they're fun; The distortions in the world around you make everything seem better; Your worries go away; the music sounds better; i have better conversations drunk; and other reasons I can't think off the top of my head.

Oh god, what a retards... I wouldn't even allow my friends to do this if I were there...

Drinking so much alcohol at once is frickin playing with your life... no really it will kill you most of the time...
It's about the same as jumping of a 100 meter tall bridge to prove you're cool... -.-

Ah well.. russians... Tongue

(How can you say it's not fun if you've not tried it? lol)

Most people talks a lot more, and opens up more when you're drinking. I think it's way easier for shy people to get in contact with others due to alcohol. Also, after a 'lil drinking, my friends tell me personal things and secrets which make them ease up. You know, those secrets which are good to know, because you'll easier set yourself in their position.

Being drunk might be fun, depending on what happens and stuff. Sometimes, you're able to tell hilarious stories afterwards. Other times, you just end up with your head over the toilet for 30 mins or so.

Getting buzzed is fun once in a while. Drinking occasionally to celebrate is fun. Drinking all the time is not fun because you come to depend on it. I remember in school, the girls were all obsessed with looking thin and pretty so they were literally in the gym for 5 hours at a time. Then, following the herd, they went out partying Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and consumed 3,000 calories in booze in one night. That's idiotic.

I will never try to do it anyway. Did you know that you can incur in cerebral damages if you get drunk too often? Even getting drunk once can damage your brain a little.

Yeah, right.. but you damage your life. I'd prefer being shy and not having friends instead than drinking and damaging my body (FYI, I've never been drunk, and I'm not a so-open kind of guy, but I still have many friends Smile).

That's exactly the point. Maybe you often open up more when you're drunk, but you almost always end up with vomiting and bad headache the day after.

Not funny. Not at all.

I still don't understand the point of drinking too much.

You said something like How can you say it's not fun to jump into fire if you haven't tried it? ...

If someone is shy she/he should change it in normal way no with alcohol. I still don't see fun in being drunk.

Small quantities of alcohol are directly linked to several health BENEFITS. We're talking a glass of wine occasionally, not getting plastered at a kegger. The brain damage by alcohol is inconsequential unless you drink way too much for a long time. Even then, other parts of your body, (liver especially,) will be damaged by alcohol far far more than your brain.

Oh, rofl. There's none, apart from being damn cool for like 3 mins.

I don't think getting drunk (not wasted, though it's okay to learn your limits) once every two weekends is that bad, really. Most people do it, and I've not seen any statistics showing that teetotallers have a way better life than people drinking now and then. Though I've never really looked into it. If you can find statistics which show me anything like that, I'll gladly look into it.

That is indeed not funny, and I understand that. But I can certainly say that vomiting and bad headaches does not appear all the time if you know your limits. We're not talking about fuzzy-wuzzy teenagers buying as much alcohol they can, then drink it all up within one hour. lol.

Well, if he was referring to the clip, then I'll completely agree that it would be like saying that. But I was really thinking about go out and drink in general. I don't really see the similarity between being drunk and jumping on a fire, unless a ton of people between 16-27 jump on fires in the weekends. I suspect there's a reason they're doing it, and I suspect that the reason is normally not related to addiction nor group pressure.

Dude. Get wrecked. One party, just drink. If you don't over do it (as I've never done), you can have a great time, unless you f'uck it up. Then again, you can f'uck a night up when you're sober, so it's not any different.

Actually the benefits of red wine are not due to alcohol content, but its rich supply of antioxidants. You're not doing yourself any favours, health-wise, drinking alcohol.

Anyways...everything in moderation...

I agree with drinking a little occasionally, but what I was talking about is drinking a lot, until you get drunk. I don't agree with that, because, even if you feel good for a certain amount of time, you'll almost certainly feel bad and vomit after. It's just pointless to ruin your body like that just because you think that you can have a better social life if you do it.

Oh, then, my bad. I thought that getting drunk meant just that. Drinking more alcohol than you should. We're just talking about that.

If we were to talk about drinking an alcoholic drink occasionally, than I'd have agreed.

Ah, then we're just discussing the meaning of the word drunk, lol.

My friends and I tend to say drunk to being out drinking in general, and wasted to "so drunk one usually have a hangover".
