Lvl 200 beginner = more NX than anybody else. So yeah, most likely nexon will give him a medal for that. Glitter

Quantact Wrote:The one in Taiwan I heard actually TRAINED to 200 through grinding... I remembe there are beginner-only items with like 200 attack+ in other versions so maybe it's possible. In our versions even "legit" high level beginners cannot get past maybe 90 except by leech. Hurt

That still seems impossible without hacking. Even with a 1000 attack weapon they'd still be killing slower than your average [insert class here]. It'd take at least 5-6 times, if not 10 times as long as grinding your way up on another class with a 200+ attack weapon. So L> someone to spend 10x as much time grinding as FangBlade.

IMO beginners are only cool as a challenge if you're bored. It's pretty stupid to leech one except to say you did it. One person probably should, though, just to get that pomegranate up there on the ranks for people to stare at.

Well, the Taiwan guy is definitely legit. In describing him the person said "Taiwan MS is waiting as he grinds to 200." I am guessing if he hacked he'd be picked off because the GMs watch the top 5 very very closely. If he leeched, well, that's possible but it's still not hacking.

Being in a legit party with, say, a bishop as you take bottom at news is still legit grinding, even if you're slower than other classes. All that matters is whether you can kill the spawn.

Oh, by your CAPS on the word TRAINED I assumed you meant he soloed or something. Yeah, grinding it out with a Bishop isn't too much different from leeching for a Beginner, though, since you could probably only take 2-3 skeles tops.

They do have special Beginner items in other versions, like the Sake Bottle, (I don't remember what it does, but it's supposed to be the ultimate Beginner weapon.) Even GMS has the lvl 20 frozen tuna, and it's a waste of a gach slot because almost no one can use it.

Actually, the best Beginner only weapon is the Maroon Mop, it adds 220 attack.

Wow... perfectly scrolled that is 255 attack.

What's with the number 255? It is the maximum in a lot of video game things, and has been since Nintendo.

Back in the Nintendo days it was because 255 was the highest 8-bit could handle. Maple for some reason capped things at 255 even though it's a 32-bit game.

Does that mean no higher than 255 attack weapons period? That might rain on the parade of jeweled-reverse-perfect weapons.

How would you make a Reverse jeweled weapon 255 anyway?Goggleemoticon

A perfectly perfect Timeless weapon wouldn't even reach 200 attack.

HayO made a 138 att perfect fairfrozen. Add the jewels and the increased base attack from lvl 90 to lvl 120 and you should be able to top 155 on a perfect weapon.

Ugh, 155 not 255. My mistake, you're right.
