Soul Masters are the only Cygnus class that has more attack power than its Adventurer counterpart, but not by much. 50% elemental advantage would be a bit much, but not too useful except at Skeles I suppose. On neutral monsters they'd still be outdamaged by mid-13x Heroes (they have approximately the attack power of a 135-136 Hero with a Holy element).
@Devil - for a melee class Rush is preferable to a nerfed FJ (have to jump shot it, has a 2 sec cooldown? I believe).
If you look on the SS, the highest hit on a Goby visible is 3438, while the hit on the Bone Fish is 5171. Unless he got REALLY unlucky with the hits on Gobies, that is an increase of 1733 damage, and compared to 3438, that's an increase of 50.407213496218731820826061663758%, so it can be assumed that the elemental advantage is 50%, instead of 25%. On Skeles with a 50% advantage, they will outdamage level 170+ Heroes, and about level 140 Heroes on neutral monsters.

He just hit high in that picture, he did test & confirm it at 1.25x. Max on Gobies was around 4k but top damage doesn't appear in every picture.
Plenty of 4000 on Gobies in that pic, I doubt he increased his damage from 3400 to 4200 in a level.

120 Soul Master AP = 134 Hero AP
Soul Master Brandish = 993.6%
Hero Brandish = 988%
993.6/988 - 1 = 0.57%
The damage advantage doesn't even hold out for a whole level. Heroes outdamage them at 135 on neutral monsters with the same equips.

The elemental bonus of Soul Charge is 50%. So all attacks from then on are 50% holy elemental. Divide the elemental bonus by 2 and add to 1 to get the multiplier - 1.25x.
I've also calculated the multipliers for combo for Dawn Warriors. I came up with these figures - [120, 123, 126, 130, 133]. Anyone want to double-check me?

Now let's redo calculations.
AC - 180%
Soul charge - 120%, 125% advantage
Brandish - 460%
Comes out at 1242%, much more realistic.

without a way to disprove them, those look reasonable. its either that or [120, 125, 130, 135, 140]. do you know for certain they kept the orb % formula? they changed up orb 1 for the lvl20 skill. couldve changed other stuff...

The thing about having a holy element though, is there's nothing to use it on at 120. Nearly no bosses are weak to holy, and since you can't train anymore there's not much of a point to it.

Where are people getting these screenies? If he's got a blog or just a bunch of screen shots I'd like a link to them either way.
So, is it true that KMS adventurers can give each other Spirit's Blessing (Blessing of the Sprite's official GMS name) without a cygnus knight being even close to their levels? I heard some talk about it on this thread but I'm not sure if it's known for sure. That'd really ruin the knights in GMS since nobody would have a good reason to make them; they'd just be some weird novelty class.

Ummmm Cygnus Knights are a novelty class and yes it is possible for two adventurers to share Blessing in the new system without parents

Does the account have to have at least one Cygnus Knight on it though? It makes no sense to me otherwise. :f6:
Also, is it recommended to mob with Avenger or the Poison throwing skill?
I figure that against an oncoming mob it'll be hard to charge and throw effectively. If anything I think this skill is good for sniping big mobs.

Well,there's no restriction to cygnus per account,but,just think that,if you didnt have bought the character expansion,you cant have more than one cygnus.
Because,each cygnus requires a parental one,so you'll need 2 characters.
But,in KMS,since the new method has arrived,you dont need any parental anymore.
The poison sling,is only for poisoning,its damage is so low,but,at least,i think that you can lure mobs by using it.

These pics are from the KMS english speaking community. They mostly play in Culverin [now merged with two other servers], and most of them are members of Southperry or lurk here at least. That pic in particular is from Percocet, TehMatt's Soul Master (Dawn Warrior).

Why do so many people don't understand this? Next patch, you login to your "main" cygnus character (has to be lvl 20+), you get a quest, click "ok" and you reach the screen of making a cygnus character. Maple makes the cygnus character in a cygnus-only slot (for free). If you would delete the cygnus, the free slot is also gone.
So you have 4 character slots when you create a Cygnus... so yes you also get the blessing... it isn't that hard... :f6:

This is true, but it's a change that KMS made later on, when they implemented the Race Select screen as opposed to the original creation method. So, it's likely to say that until we get the Ereve Tutorial or the race select, the "3 adventurers" thing is not going to work.
