Scheduled Server Maintenance

MapleStory will be going through a scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, July 15th, 2009.
This maintenance will involve all game servers, and it will last approximately 6 hours.

I'll take a wild guess that it's to do with Cygnus pre-quests ^_^ ANd probably Gachapon items. Nothing big, just work that has to be done

Don't forget the monsterbook shuffle fix.
(and yes, i've heard the quests start on the 15th or 16th)

6 hours? I already forgot about the usual time of serverchecks when I bought 2x card for my Outlaw, but now I'll only have 1 hour of 2x if they don't extend it.. >_>; Oh well, guess I'll skip one day of training and do those pre-cygnus quests if they get activated tomorrow.

But really, the quests are great for making mules. the miniquiz books if you get it right after you do all the quests give 800 exp a pop. and they drop fairly common.

Wow, there's actually a chance we might get our books fixed to what they were originally? AWESOME.

Although I'm not getting my hopes up, they might just give us a free 2x drop coupon or may release something similar to Tienk's quests.

Compensation sounds more like we're not going to get them restored and instead they're going to try and buy our love back with MAPLE POINTS.

Ew. I hope not.

In the 13 extra minutes after 12:00 am, I managed to complete volume one and two of the Cygnus books.

The following will be addressed in the server maintenance:

#1) Today's Mission: Watermelon Quest not giving the cape.
Agent P from Agent Headquarters will give away the Agent Cape. Go to Agent HQ by talking to Agent E in a town, talk to Agent P and select "I want an agent cape."

#2) Monster Book compensation. Details will be announced shortly.

#3) Today's Mission: Watermelon Field Invasion: Problem of not being able to exchange the watermelon for a secret box. Fixed.

Wasn't it said to be given by another quest that included some badges?

As long as I keep my 2nd Blue King Goblin card... Perfect. But yeah, probably gonna be maxing the pq cards we don't have a chance of getting.
