Diligent Explorer Medal

So, this one seems like the only one that I can do. I have a few questions:

1) Is it permanent?
2) What are the stats?
3) Do I have to be on for 3 hours without logging off or can I log on for 1 hour, then log off, then do the 2 hours later?
4) Can you just be AFK for 3 hours?

what medal would be worth it?

The other medals are much better. The "best" medal that can be gotten sort of easy is the PQ Mania Medal. It adds.

STR: +3
DEX: +3
INT: +3
LUK: +3
Speed: +5
Jump: +2

Your best bet would be the quest medal which adds.

STR: +2
DEX: +2
INT: +2
LUK: +2
Avoid: +10
Jump: +10

I wouldn't say PQ Mania is that easy. It's only slightly easy because of the large amount of PQs. And the quest medal is only achievable to high levels, because only they have enough quests to get 800 quests.

I have the Medal on a level 7X character.

Just as many quests are only available to 2nd and 3rd job characters... OPQ, PPQ, and MPQ especially have a lot of quests you can do (50-70, 55-100, 71-85 level limits)

I'm struggling to hit 800 on my level 127 Paladin (12 subquests to go, of 22 I could conceivably do - really hitting the bottom of the barrel here, with things like 20 Ring Fragments (from tweeters) and buying Bigfoot toes. I've already spent roughly 20-25mil on quest items and would be looking at another ~85mil to complete all 22) and like the guy above said, he has it at a way lower level.

My Brawler's at lvl 61, he's done about 532 quests, I believe, with still many to go. And yeah, he's done the Lost Storybooks and all that jazz.
