Number of levels on timeless items?

Each time I look at a new thread I see different numbers. How many times do they level up? 4? 5? 6?

All levellable items start at level 1. Reverse have a max level of 4. Timeless have a max level of 6. So they have 3 and 5 levelups, respectively.

What's added to the weapon upon level up?

0~2 main stat

and perhaps... 0~2 secondary stat

and upon reaching max lvl, lvl 120 gear has 10% chance of adding +1 sp to a skill while equipped

It's usually 0-1 to a second stat, and only really matters for daggers (luk dagger = 0-2 luk, 0-1 str, str dagger = 0-1 luk, 0-2 str iirc)

The cape adds to all 4 stats and I think shoes add speed or something, as well as main/secondary stats on gear.

I remember Fiel posted somewhere that they also gain monster status too (slow, darkness, stun, freeze, etc)

That was removed. Now, the only weapons that have status effects are those lightsabers from neo tokyo, and maybe the bain weapons still have them, I dunno.

At max level, the equipment gives +1 to a certain skill. For weapons, this is most likely your main attack skill. And like always, the chances of you getting said skill is very, very low.
