In other news, I just finished Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. I want to start Kai right now, but I would rather get the beginning of this season out of the way first.

I think they skipped some things between the end of the first series and what happens in OVA 01. I didn't finish watching the first season though so who knows. Uncensored breasts for the win though.

Sora no Manimani 01: YAY. This is the high-energy I was hoping for. Mihoshi is so adorable. And the club president coughing up blood every scene he's in is just... I really hope they don't try to pull anything GRIMDARK with their past.

Okay, so I finally finished Eureka Seven, and I'm going to start on the latter half of the new season now. Of the following, which are the best?

I'm definitely going to hit Zan SZS 01 and Bakemonogatari 02 first due to my devotion to SHAFT, but the rest is undecided. I've heard a lot of good things about Sora no Manimani, and I want to know if TM 8.0 turned out as awesome as people said it'd be.

Also, are any of these worth watching over E7: Psalms of Planets?

I disliked TM 8.0 and GA though. Everything above those were fine and/or amazing.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 01 was just blah blah blah pre-earthquake boring garbage. Doesn't really look like it'll be that great though, in my opinion, but 02 could have a lot of whatever to make up for it. GA is like a horribly watered down Lucky Star about Art Class. And yes, I find an animu about girls trying to play baseball in the 1920s to be awesome.

Kanamemo 01&02: FUCKING WIN. YURI + LOLI + MOE + LOLI + MOE + MOLEST + NEWSPAPERS

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 Episode 1: People will say that it was boring, but I really liked it. It really showed you how Mirai was really annoyed about how her parents were, and wanted it to change. I'd say it's one of those "be careful what you wish for" things, but... If it is, it's believable.

Mmm. Delicious expressions. The WHOAMG dramatic lines get quite annoying after the billionth time they're used in this episode. Stakes don't look how I expected them. Was hoping for more... ritualistic / ornamented.

I like how everyone was talking about Mihoshi straddling Saku. I like this show.

Sure is a lot of slice of life this season.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni ep3: Yeah, stakes weren't how I imagined them at all. They're not bad though. Yay Second Twilight. I HELL YEAH every time some VN music plays. It makes me feel like I'm enjoying a masterpiece again rather than a QUALITY anime.

Sadly, this was the highlight of the episode for me:

Bakemonogatari 1-2: Very interesting. Great art and presentation. I didn't expect her backstory so that's good too. Fanservice with a good reason? Awesome. A staple to the mouth has got to hurt though. I wonder where Senjohara learned those moves from.

Are those twin sisters I see? And I can't wait for elaboration of Hanekawa's story.

Umineko 3: Not particularly interesting. The characters aren't really likable and die too fast for me to feel anything about their deaths.

Battler is annoying in general, but I liked when he revealed that he didn't have the scorpion charm, though I wonder if he's telling the truth.

Spice and Wolf II is of that caliber.
